(I wrote this chapter high so it's gonna be bad 😅)

We had peeled our sweaty backs from the floor of the van, realizing that we had been laying there so long that everyone would be coming back in ten minutes. Maxx threw me my sheer shirt and my pants from across the van. He finished pulling his up and slipped his sweater over top to hide all the bruises and nail marks I had gave him. I finished getting redressed Just in time as we saw everyone making their way back to the van. We weren't loud or anything, so I guess we kept the windows rolled down slightly.

"Shh!" Maxx laughed as he sat back next to me. I totally thought we'd wait until we got home.

"What's up bitches!" Dan boomed as he opened the back doors of the van.

"No need to be loud!" I groaned laying my head on Maxx's shoulder, watching Ash come sit down next to Maxx and I instead of going to sit next to Cody.

"Well I guess I get shotgun!" Zach smiled clearly drunk. Cody never drank at these events, he said it messed with him too much, he would always drive us (the drunk ones) home.

"I just want to get home and sleep," I muttered half to myself cuddling closer to the blonde man next to me.

The ride home was deathly quiet, Cody and Ash were avoiding each other that much was clear, the van was still a mess from moving, it's honestly gross in here.

"Do we have shit to do tomorrow, Cody?" Dan asked flopping down against the wall of van not caring about if it hurt or not.

"Scarlett and I do, don't think you guys have anything though." He sighed. By the sounds of it we were going to fuck someone up for money again.

"No no no! I never agreed to doing jack shit. I'm not leaving my bed tomorrow." I huffed, hitting the back of his seat.

"Mom's back in town, you have to go." He groaned. She left us with our dad when I was six and Cody was twelve. We could only see her for a few hours a month, she never cared about us.

"I will call that bitch and let her know that I have shit to do." I sat up straight and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Go ahead and call her, she's just going to come to you. You tried to pull this last time." He had a point.

"Fine, I'll see her for half an hour, but after that I'm getting the fuck out of there." Maxx snickered from beside me.

"Shut it, Danziger." I growled back. That woman is the one who got us into this fucking mess and now I could be count as a criminal because of stuff this gang had required Cody and I to do.

"I always have to deal with her, could you at least deal with her this time."

"Cody you know exactly why I don't want to be near her! Remember summer of two thousand and three?" He immediately stopped pressuring me.

"Wait what happened?" Zach questioned as we stepped out of the van and made our way inside.

"I don't like to talk about it, but it's apart of me now and nothing could change that." I would never tell anyone what I did unless it was Maxx. He always kept things to himself when he needs too.

"Cody, what happened? You obviously know what happened." Zach pushed at something he shouldn't have.

I shot Cody the 'don't-you-fucking-dare-say-anything' look as he ignored it. "Scarlett and I were forced into doing horrible things that we couldn't handle at the time, we were so young at the time." He sighed. Zach just crossed his arms not happy with the amount of information Cody gave.

"We were forced to kill hundreds of men. Our mom went harder on Scarlett. She was eleven and I was fourteen at the time." Cody mumbled the last sentence.

"And we don't talk about it because we still have to do it. It's the worst thing you could imagine having to do all the time. Not to mention our robbing days. We went by different names then, fake ones. We look way different then we did back then, we've still had to cover our tracks just to be careful." I could finally get it off my chest, but it could have costed us.

"Y- you guys could leave or do as you please if you don't want to associate with us now that you know." I sighed, my thoughts jumbled as I spoke.

"Pretty sure we're going to have to do that too. A rival gang had sent death threats towards the main core of the gang. That means all of us in this house." Dan informed, of fucking course this was happening.

"Fuck." I was stressing, I wasn't going to let anyone know that, I don't need people looking after me.

"What gang?"

"The Clique." My god. Tyler fucking 'Mad Gear' Joseph.

"That's Mad Gear's crew right?" Maxx asked, not as concerned as he should be.

"Yep. What did we even do? What does he want?" I groaned, flopping onto the couch.

"He's just looking for trouble." Ash sighed, running upstairs to her shared room with Cody. I'm surprised that Maxx hasn't questioned what I did. What Cody and I.

"Good to know we're fucked again, right C?" I smiled at him sarcastically and he just shook his head.

"Scar." Maxx questionably looked at me. Was it clear that I was freaking out? God I hope not.

"If shit goes down hill again Cody you know exactly what we have to do. Either way we get hurt." I mumbled covering my mouth with a cushion from the couch.

"Scarlett don't fucking talk like that. We got through it once we can do it again." By this time everyone had left including Maxx. I get that Cody is just trying to be a good big brother and calm me down, but I can tell he doesn't believe any of the shit that just came out of his mouth.
