Okay, I can do the girlfriend. Easy done.

I turned my head to Denny.

"I'm guessing you have rules?" He grinned at me.

"In fact I do." I stated. "Before we leave the car, I need you to agree with them."

"Continue."

It had me confused why Denny would need an escort. He was handsome enough to pick up any woman he wanted.

"I don't like to be groped. There will only be moderate touching, affectionate and light. I will not be bartered off to anyone else, if so, we are done for the night and your bill will be doubled. I'm also slightly more expensive than Maggie, but I'll let that go, tonight. I'm more than happy to accept her fees." I know what hers are, so I wasn't losing too much. "And I don't do sex. Or anything sexual."

Denny looked amused, causing me to frown slightly.

"Is there something wrong with my rules, Mr Mason?"

Denny shook his head. "No."

"Are you slightly disappointed?"

"No. I'm intrigued."

I raised my eyebrow at him with a smile. "On what?"

"Your fees are higher than Maggie's, but you don't have sex?"

I just shrugged at him.

"It's a conversation a lot of women blush at, but not you."

What can I say? I'm shameless. "I," How can I say this nicely? "I don't care what Maggie offers, that her business. But those are my rules."

"Respectable rules." Denny grinned at me.

"So, am I a heiress? A poor girl you found on the street? An old friend? Smart? Please don't say air head. I can still feel like my IQ recovering from last week."

Denny let out a deep laugh. "No, not an air head. Be yourself."

"So a decent conversation is more than welcomed?" I grinned.

"Yes. I don't mind a decent conversation."

I sighed in relief. "Thank goodness." I muttered.

"I knew you were more intelligent than what you let on last week."

I looked at Denny with a puzzled look.

"I saw the face you pulled, how you rolled your eyes. It was a face of someone trying to be something their not. You were bored and probably slightly insulted?"

I wanted to ask how did he know, but like he said, he saw me. "Yes."

"Well, by all means," Denny smiled as he looked out the window to see where we were at. "I encourage trivial and mind boggling conversations. We need to raise that IQ of yours again."

I smiled at him, trying not to laugh. But it was genuine this time, not the fake one I tend to use.

"Please do."

I picked up a tomato, feeling its ripeness as I placed it in the small bag.

I was in a relative good mood from last night, from my night with Denny.

It felt good just being myself for a few hours. We had huge conversations and small debates over the liberal politics, before moving on to the down fall of our last prime minister.

I enjoyed being a part of that, instead of just being eye candy and looking pretty, showing that I had brains, and most of the people I spoke to last night respected me for it.
