My heart skipped a beat as I stared up at the figure before me. It wasn't possible. Disbelief coursed through me. My chest tightened with tension, and I could barely breathe. My father looked into my eyes and spoke simple words. "Its been awhile."

"It can't be." I whispered. Hate and anger bubbled beneath my skin.
"Oh, my daughter, aren't you glad to see me?" He said, his voice full of sarcasm and mockery.
"Don't you dare call me that!" I roared. "You left me for nothing!! All alone...when I was only but a girl!  You killed Aadya!" My father winced at the sound of her name. "You caused so much pain and hurt in my life..." I trailed off recaping my past. I want him dead, and I want him dead now. "Why am I here?" I repeated.
"I got a transmission, from the Empire." My father began. "It was a mission...for 1,000 credits. It was to find you. The Commander said you made some trouble for them...and they weren't happy. They wanted me to find and kill you. I've been tracking you ever since that day. And here we are. Daughter and father reunited once again." He smirked. He thinks this is a joke. A game that results in one dying, and one living. And then something went off inside my brain. I could win. I silently scooted my feet closer to me. My hand found its way inside the boot and curled around something sharp. The knife my sister gave me...before her death.
"Why not kill me now then?" I questioned.
"It wouldn't be fun." My father exclaimed. His focus wondered around the room. I seized the moment. I couldn't let it go. Everything was in slow motion. I threw the knife. It hit him..near the heart. A gasp of shock and confusion escaped him. His eyes looked down at the knife and then at me. Tears shook my body. I breathed heavily trying to calm myself down. This is what he deserves, I tell myself over and over again. His body drops to the floor with a loud thud. I crawl my way towards him and grab the keys from his belt. I quickly unlock myself from the restraints and collect his gun. Blood surrounds his cold body. "I'm sorry Papa." I say before sliding his swipe card to open the door, and then exiting. That was the the last time I would ever see him again. Or at least, that's what I thought.
