The door to my cell opened. I sluggishly raised my head, and my eyes fluttered opened. A large headache swarmed the inside of my brain. Tiredness dragged on my whole body, making every part of it feel much heavier. My eyes drifted from the floor, to my visitors. Three imperial generals and two storm troopers awaited my vision. It didn't take much for me to snap back awake, my attention alert. I glanced over at Bo-Katan, her eyes wild. Every part of me decided to give into the fear that was crawling up my spine. This wasn't the kind of fear little kids have when they are spooked by a storm. I knew this kind of fear...it was familiar to me. It was the same fear that occurred when my parents abandoned me....when I knew there was no hope left. And that's what scared me the most. This was the kind of fear that shook my bones until they were hollow and was able to crash with one blow. There was no hope. And this wouldn't end well.
I walked down dimly lit hallways and bland, gray, metal walls, with two guards on both sides, and my "welcoming party" behind me. My head hung low and my eyes felt like sandpaper. Finally, after what felt like ages we reached our destination. My guard pushed me into a room. My eyes widened as I looked around me. A table laid in the center with hand and foot cuffs. On both sides there were tools, many different tools, and I had a deep suspicion I knew what they were for. My guard left, leaving me with only the two generals, and the lot of storm troopers. The storm troopers spread out each guarding an area of the room while the generals shoved me into my handcuffs that lay on my table. I grunted, trying to escape the cuffs, but there was no use. "Don't struggle. It will be easier for all of us if you just agree and do what I say." The guard taunted.
"Really?" My voice flowed from my mouth, full of sarcasm. "Well if that is really what you want then...sure. Just make sure to give my mom a call if I misbehave." The lady's eyes flared with annoyance. I smiled sarcastically, hoping to delay whatever was coming next. The lady signaled with her hands to the guard standing, silently, beside her. He immediately left the room, and turned abruptly. I focused my attention back on the general, and studied her features. I breathed in quickly, recognizing something I had never noticed before. She was the spitting image of Piper. Everything about her looked like Piper. Her eyes, nose shape, and even the curl at the end of her lips resembled Piper. The only thing that was different was the freckles. This lady had more, and more evenly spread out. I cocked my head to the side, confusion flowing within me. Is she a relative, a sister maybe? The thought fled from my brain, like a racehorse, when the door reopened. A gasp escaped my mouth, loud and clear. It felt like I couldn't breathe. Shock pulsed through me. It couldn't be I told myself over and over again. But it was...Kylo Ren stood before me...his light saber ignited.
