Left. Right. Left. I wandered aimlessly around the dark halls. It had been ten minutes since I had seen my father. One of the biggest suprises of my life. I ignored the anger as it rose, and continued on my main priority...Khann. He has to be on this ship. My father wouldn't be stupid enough not to take him on board. Something moved inside me. I stopped cold. It felt like waves, coursing through my body, swallowing my heart and mind. I then heard a voice. Soft and gentle...barely audible. It grew until finally I could make out what it was saying. Left. I decided to follow its instructions. I started running until the end of the hallway and made a sharp left. Continue going straight. I continued at the next turn, down the hall. Right. The instructions continued until finally I made it to a door. Alora...be brave. And then it was gone. I took a deep breath. I grabbed my fathers key and slid it down the keypad. The metal door opened. Pitch darkness swarmed the inside. I gathered all my courage left within me and took a step towards the darkness. I rose my only weapon and pointed it inside blindly. After a few more steps I could see nothing but emptiness and void.  I could hear my heart pound beneath my chest. My hands shook slightly, but not enough to unstablize my gun. A big sound like creaking came from behind. The door. A boom shook the walls. I was trapped. Lights came on blinding me for a split second. Before me sat Khann. His head was down, eyes staring at the floor. Relief spread over me for a moment, he was alive...until my eyes gazed upwards. A man with a dark cloak and the symbol of my father stood next to Khann...with his gun pointed at Khann's head. I wasted no time. I aimed my gun at the man and shot. The bullet hit his arm. A scream filled the room. The man's grasp on Khann's shoulder fell. Khann was free. "Com'on!" I yelled. Khann nodded towards me, his eyes full of gratitude, then turned and started for the door. I sprinted after him, alderline pulsing through me. I had almost made it when something grabbed me from behind. I landed on back, knocking the air out of me. I gasped, my lungs burning with every second. Khann turned towards me and started running in my direction. "Go!" I screamed.
"I'm not leaving you!" Khann retorted. I kicked the man's gun from the floor away from us...trying to buy enough time for Khann to escape. The grip on my shoulder wouldn't budge.
"Listen to me...you need to go!! Get help and come back...just I need to you go for me. Please..." My voice sounded desperate. I couldn't let him save me...I couldn't let him die trying...not for me. The man started dragging me towards his gun...across the room. "GO!" I screamed as loud as my lungs to take. Khann looked at me, his eyes glistening with greif.
"I'll come back...I promise! I love you.." At that he turned and ran out the door. Something banged into the back of my head and everything suddenly became blurry...and soon I couldn't even think.
