Sweat beads poured down my face. My body shuddered, shaking intensely from the pain...the long lasting pain that ached inside of my bones making them feel hollow. "Why?" Was all he spoke. The words were simple but cut deeper than knives. "Why? Why did you join them?" Kylo Ren questioned me again.
"Why do you think?" I snapped back  gathering all the strength left I had inside me.  I calmed my voice down to nearly a whisper and continued, "You're hurting. You want to escape it but you feel trapped. You blame yourself...for all the darkness now in this world. And you tell yourself  lies to make you feel better. Wanted even." I stopped, catching my breath and reading the expression left on the face before me. The face I thought I never wanted to see. After a moment I continued, "You wonder how and why I know this...because I've been there. I know what you have been feeling. I have experienced it myself.  And I can help you--" My voice was cut off abruptly by a yell.
"Enough!!!" He roared. Redness clotted all around his face. Kylo Ren raised his hand and I knew what was coming next. Pain erupted from my heart and spread like a flood. My head jolted back hitting against the metal headrest behind me. A blood curtling scream sounded. It took me a few moments to realize it was my own. Finally the pain ended, sending relief through me. My head fell, sagging. The only thing keeping me upright was the metal restraints around my hands and ankles. "Tell me why." Kylo Ren's voice boomed and shook of the empty walls. I raised my head slightly allowing my eyes to meet his.
"You...can't....make....me..." My voice was hoarse and shaky as I spoke. I braced myself, as he raised his hand again, awaiting more pain. But it didn't come. Instead a boom sounded, shaking everything around me...including Kylo. And then another one. A look of confusion spread onto his face. I smirked as he focused his attention back onto me. "Looks like my ticket out of this junkyard is finally here."

The door shut behind Kylo, leaving me alone to my thoughts. I could hear his angry stomps echo down the hall until they disappeared. I wondered what was going on...and if they were actually making progress. I wanted out of here so badly. I was sick of this place...and I was sick of missing Khann. I needed to see him. His face...his eyes...his beautiful smile. He has done so much for me...and I couldn't fathom what my life would be like without him. I was jolted back into reality when the door to my room opened, after a long period of time. A storm trooper walked in and immeaditially shut the door behind him. The metal screeched sending chills up my back. I cocked my head to the side, patiently waiting for what was going to occur next. The storm trooper removed his helmet and everything seemed to stop.
"Did ya miss me?" Khanns voice sounded. A gasp of joy shook me.
"Khann...your here." I breathed. His smile beamed, feeling so original. "I can't tell you how happy I am to see you." Words tumbled out of my mouth like a waterfall. I couldn't express the feeling I had inside. The feeling I had been longing for. Khann walked towards me, a keycard in hand. He unlocked my restraints, letting me fall into his arms. I stayed there, for what felt like ages. He eventually pulled away, his smile still there. "Let's get out of here." I spoke boldly.
"Sure thing, partner."
