Estelwen (Alastegiel) POV

When I laid down, all I could think about was Legolas. Here I am trying to figure out how to help Legolas feel more loved. And now he seems to hate me.

Another thought now occurs to me. I have been lying to all these people. I care about each of them so much, and they don't know who I really am. I want to tell them, but who can I trust?

Then I think back to what just happened. Aragorn was so kind, I know I can trust him. Especially since Arwen trusts him. I sit up and look over to Aragorn. He is just sitting there staring off into the distance.

I walk over to him and asked him, “Aragorn, can I talk to you?"

He can see the sadness on my face, and he looks concerned. “Sure, let's go somewhere where we can talk."

Soon we get far enough away from Lothlórien. There are some rocks that we sit on.

“What's wrong?" Aragorn asks me gently.

I sigh, then got started with my story. “When I was little I was taken away from my Naneth. The person put a spell on everyone who knew about me, to forget who I was, that I never even existed. I do not know who the person is who took me, but he tortured me. He had me for almost two years before, Gandalf saved me. He was not affected by the spell, so he knew who I was. Gandalf acted as a father to me for a year. When I was ten, I decided to live out on my own. I lived by myself in Mirkwood, for a few hundred years. From then up till now I have been king Thranduil's servant. I am the best fighter and best healer King Thranduil has, so he sent me to Rivendell." I could not help it, I let the tears fall down my face and turned my head away from Aragorn.

“So your parents and your friends don't remember you any more?" Aragorn asked. I just nodded my head not turning to look at him. “Who are your parents?" He asked turning my head to look at him but I still would not meet his gaze.

“I'm so sorry." Was all I said as I started to cry harder.

“Alastegiel," Aragorn started to say.

I knew I had to tell him, “My name is not Alastegiel. My Naneth is Lady Galadriel." As I said this I heard him gasp. “I am Estelwen, the Lady of Hope and Healing.
