Gintoki didn't say goodbye. Instead of words, the room was filled with sound of working medical equipment which was supporting Sakata's vital functions. Kagura was just standing in the doorway of the room, watching his motionless face.

"Do you think he will wake up?" asked Kagura after a couple of seconds. Kamui shrugged his shoulders but noticed his sister wasn't able to see his movement.

"I don't know. I think if they had any ways of waking him up they would have do this a while ago."

Kagura sighed quietly.

"We can go."

"And your dog?"

"I can't find him anywhere" answered Kagura barely hearable, her face covered by hair. She feared the worst.

Sadaharu was waiting next to Harusame ship, making light of Kagura's worries. When she saw her favourite pet, she dropped her umbrella on the ground and started to run. In just a couple of seconds she was at Sadaharu, hugging him and having her hidden in big dog's fur.

Sadaharu was smelling his owner's scent, as if sensing it wasn't just a temporary parting, but a farewell.

Finally, Kagura stepped back from Sadaharu, stopping her tears from showing up. When she saw her pet's look, her hesitation got stronger. She felt her heart breaking.

"Take care of four-eyes and that perm idiot" Kagura said in shaking voice. She pet Sadaharu on the head and the dog just yelped but he new he wasn't able to convince her.

Kagura stepped back again and with a quick movement she went in the direction of Harusame ship. Kamui was standing still, watching the whole situation calm and anxious. He hesitated. He wanted to take the dog on board just to numb the pain that was eating her heart just a little bit. He knew he couldn't but he was considering it. He sighed.

What was the use of giving her the whole world if he wasn't able to make her smile just that one time?

He followed her.

Shortly after, the Harusame ship prepared to departure. Abuto monitored all of procedures and gave the orders while Kamui was watching Kagura in silence, who stood at the window and was looking at Sadaharu.

She was stopping her tears from showing up. Sadaharu just sat there, with his eyes directed at the Harusame ship, that was just leaving the Earth. He started to howl and yelp. She didn't hear sounds he was making but didn't have to. Too many times she heard it everyday and she knew that too well.

Soon, Sadaharu transformed into small, white stain just to dissapear forever after a few seconds.

Kagura walked through well-lighted corridors with grey walls of the ship while listening to excessively talkative young cre member named Kai. He was telling her about amazing planets, dangerous intergalactic battles and his own incredibly boring story. Kagura ignored every single world. It wasn't an act of malice on her side, she just really didn't want to chit chat, busy with her own suffering.

"Here's your room, miss" said Kai with hearable joy in his voice, stopping by some door. Just some ordinary, metallic door with numer 67 on it. There was nothing remarkable about it. Kagura had no idea what she had expected but it sure wasn't the view before her eyes.

"Miss?" repeated Kagura, as if she have just woken up from some kind of trance. She looked at Kai with disgust, causing him to clear his throat and stop smiling. "Is it mine?"

"That is correct. Corridor 6D, room 67" he answered quickly, but not with as much joy as before. He pointed a big text on the wall. Kagura looked around.
