He was a natural at it.

"Hyun! Please get down from there. You might fall down!", you frantically pleaded to the little three and a half year old boy that you were babysitting.

He paid no attention to you and kept climbing on top of the dining table. You had no idea how he got up there.

You had put him inside his little baby playing crib while you started to make lunch. And somehow, he suddenly ended up crawling on your dining table.

Hyun looked like he was going to fall down any minute. His mother said he was still a little bit new to climbing and running and that he was getting the hang of it and was too excited, but the kid seemed like a natural.

His little feet wobbled a bit and you felt like he would fall anytime soon.

"Hyun! Be careful!", you called out to him, your eyes wide with worry.

But the little boy didn't listen to you. He regained his balance and kept on climbing.

You sighed and when you were sure he wasn't going to fall, you went back to the dish you were trying to cook.

You stirred the soup and breathed in the delicious smell.

Then, a little cry of help caught your attention.

"Aaaah!"

You snapped your head to Hyun and saw that he was indeed on the verge of falling. You immediately left your cooking pot of soup and rushed to the little boy just in time to catch him from his fall.

You caught him safely in your gentle arms and let out a deep breath of relief.

You looked down at the troublesome little boy and frowned. He smiled a cheeky little smile in return and giggled.

"It's a good thing I was there to catch you in time. Don't go climbing on anything again okay, Hyun?"

The littke boy smiled and nodded.

You sighed and smiled at him. "Okay. Now be a good little boy while I cook-"

You didn't get to finish your sentence when the pot suddenly began to bubble rapidly and the flames went bigger.

You let out a scream and immediately put Hyun down and rushed to the flaming stove. You quickly grabbed the pot of soup with some cooking mittens and put it to safety. Then you turned off the stove and put out the little fire.

You wiped a bead of sweat from your forehead as you let out a sigh of relief.

Hyun just laugh as he watched you run around the kitchen.

"Come on, just ooone more little bite.", you said to Hyun as you tried to feed him a spoonful of his food.

He shook his head and turned his face away from you, a cute little frown on his adorable chubby face.

"No.", came his cute little reply.

You sighed. How stubborn does this little boy have to be?

"Come on, Hyun. Here comes the, the rocket ship!", you exclaimed as you tried to make him eat. You waved the spoon around, making little blasting sounds.

The little boy paid no attention and kept his head away from you.

You dropped the spoon back into the bowl and sighed.

"Okay. Fine. But later tell me if you're hungry, okay?"

Hyun nodded and hopped off of his little chair and went off into your living room to play with his toys.
