Soonyoung didn't know how he got into this mess. Everything was just fine before one of the school's bullies kept throwing insults at one of his school friends, making his friend lose his patience.

His friend was usually always calm and quiet. He was smart but not like a nerd. He was in fact awesome and fun to hang out with. He just held a calm demeanor.

So it took everyone by surprise when he suddenly threw a knuckle sandwich at the bully, making everyone's eyes widen in shock. Including Soonyoung's.

The poor boy didn't know what to do. He watched his friend and the bully tackle each other, throwing fist punches and not so delicious knuckle sandwiches at each other.

The classroom went chaos. Some girls screamed out of fear and shock, some guys rooted for the fight, and some just watched in bewilderment, not knowing what to do.

A student went out of the classroom to get a teacher to stop the fight that has started.

A couple of boys tried to stop the fight but failed as the bully and the bullied kept fighting and tackling each other.

Soonyoung wasn't one to keep quiet and do nothing. He immediately went into action and stepped up to help stop the fight. He wasn't thinking of the consequences when he put himself in the middle of the quarrel.

He tried to hold back his friend from charging at the bully as the bully was mocking him to deliver a knuckle sandwich once more. But the boy's anger was boiling inside of him and he didn't listen to Soonyoung or his other friends that tried to stop the fight.

Long story short, Soonyoung got thrown into the mess and got a couple of knuckle sandwiches himself, which were not delivered to him on purpose.

He tried the best he could do to stop the fight.

And not long after, the teacher came in, with the student that called him trailing behind. The teacher stopped the fight and demanded for an explanation.

Thus, the bully, Soonyoung, and his friend were sent to detention.

The bell rang, indicating that the last period was over. Everyone packed their things and rushed out of the school building. The weekend was calling them and they couldn't wait to get home.

You hummed a little song as you waited by the school's front door, waiting for your best friend to appear.

You and Soonyoung always walked to school and home together. You two didn't live in the same neighborhood, but your house was closer to school so he always walked you home before going to his house.

Normally, he would already be waiting for you by the time the school day ends.

He would ruffle your hair whenever you were late, making you blush a light shade of pink.

But today he wasn't outside waiting for you.

You decided to wait a few minutes.

Your friends waved goodbye to you and smiled as they passed you. You smiled your bright smile and waved back at them.

You looked at your wristwatch and sighed. It's been ten minutes and he hasn't come out of the school's front door yet.

"Strange of him to be late..." you said to yourself.

You looked around to see if he was hiding or trying to sneak up on you and scare you or something. He likes to play tricks and scare you which annoys you sometimes.

"Y/N? We thought you already went home by now." a familiar voice called out. You turned to the owner of the voice.
