Bella's New House

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" I was a bit sleepy and the shouting made me scared. Mommy was holding me because I was cranky.
"I'll put you to bed now little lady!" She took me into her room and tucked me in.
"Sweet dreams, I love you sweet pea."
"Love you." Mommy put my bunny next to me and gave me a kiss. Mommy shut off the lights and closed the door. But, I didn't fall asleep! I twisted and turned until the moon went away and everything turned into a dream land.

I woke up to see snow outside of mommy's window. I didn't like snow at all because it means that it's gonna be super cold.
"Where do I put these?"
"Put those in that box. Thanks." Who's here? It's so early, It's like only 8. I looked at mommy's clock and it only said 8:02. I decided to go out and see who it was.
"Mommy?" I tilted my head because I was confused.
"Morning mommy!"
"Hey sunshine." Mommy was packing away stuff and I watched her as she did that.
"We moving today?"
"Yes. We're moving today."
"I don't wanna move away from my friends."
"I know, but you'll make a million more at your new school." I frowned and crossed my arms.
"What's wrong princess?" It was uncle fin. I went into my empty room and hid in the closet.

Olivia Perspective
"Lemme guess, the kids weren't to happy about the move."
"Bella was fine at first, but I guess that now it's the day she has a lot of emotions."
"It's okay Liv, they won't be mad forever. Those kids love you more than you could ever imagine, I know you're doing what's best. For you and for them." I nodded and sipped my coffee.
"Anything on the Bleaker case?"
"Liv, let's focus on getting you settled into your new apartment. Plus, I don't think we should be discussing this with Bella around."
"Hi mommy." Noah jumped into my arms.
"Noah, aren't you forgetting something?"
"Hi Uncle Fin!"
"Whats up Noah?"
"Nothing much. I've just been playing with the truck you gave me."
"Cool! It's the best one ever huh?"
"Yeah!" I gave Noah a kiss and set him on the counter so I could start breakfast.
"Are you making sausages mommy?"
"And eggs."
"Ahh sweet, lemme sit down and wait for this meal!" Fin sat down and put Noah in his lap.

"Kids, stop running with socks on, you'll get hurt!" The kids ran into their separate rooms yelling how the other wouldn't be allowed. I rolled my eyes playfully as the squad and I started putting things away.
"Are the rooms painted?"
"Yeah, it's really cute. Noah's room is the color as before, Bella's is lavender with some bits of pink."
"Aww, so do the kids feel better about the move now?" Amanda asked.
"Noah's still angry. So I try not to talk much about him having to go to a new school and stuff. Bella just needed a minute to cool off. She's been doing better, her therapist and I have been working on helping her have less tantrums and to talk rather than walk away. We had a talk about what she did this morning and she agreed that it would be the last time she did that."
"When are ya gonna come back to work Liv?"
"As soon as this apartment is ready to actually live in, I'll come back. So let's try and get as much done as possible. Carisi can you put all of those plates on the first shelf in the cabinet? I'll start putting food away."
"Sure Liv."
"Mommy, we need to talk." Bella said with a frown.
"Here or Privately?"
"Private." She looked at me like she was embarrassed and wanted to go hide.
"Do you want to talk to me about it?" Amanda asked, she was trying to give me a chance to get some stuff done and I thanked her mentally for that. Bella shrugged her shoulders and sat on the floor waiting for me to be done.
"Alright. Tell me if you change your mind."
"Okay." Carisi went and gave her a hug and went outside to meet Fin who was getting more of our belongings.
"Look it's just us. You can tell us."
"I feel weird. Like my tummy feels super funny."
"Oh you got butterflies, why?"
"What if no one likes me at my new school?"
"I'm positive that at least someone would like you. You're an amazing friend!"
"Thanks. I'm going to go color now, love you." She hugged us both and went back into her room.

A couple days later
"Bye guys have fun at school! We'll go out on Friday."
"Okay. Bye!" I gave mommy a kiss and a hug.
"Noah, come on." Noah gave her a hug but no kiss. He was still mad I guess.
"Guys let's have some cereal and then go to school."
"We're taking the train?"
"We're gonna walk. It won't be long, now eat your cereal."
"Cereal sucks!" I ate my cereal quietly as Noah was getting angry. I want my mommy! But she's working. So I'll barely even see her! But Noah whining was starting to make me upset. He was just making things worse!
"Stop it! Just eat your cereal so we can go."
"You can't tell me what to do!"
"I can, and I am."
"Guys cut it out!"

"This is Bella our new classmate. Bella can you tell us some facts about you?"
"Well, I love stuffed peppers and my favorite color now is purple. And I play guitar."
"That's really nice! This is your new seat, you'll sit next to Kayla and Kylie." I sat down quietly and looked at the paper.
"Bella? You have to cut the paper out." Kayla said while giving my scissors.
"Thank you."
"You can play with us at recess if you want."
"But it's snowing."
"We're gonna play at the doll house. Do you wanna play house?"
"Sure! Do you guys have American girl dolls?"
"Yeah, mines looks just like me! She even has freckles."
"Mines has orange hair like me, and it's super long. What about yours?"
"She has straight hair. But my hair is curly!"
"But your hair is straight!"
"That's because I blow dry it, but once it gets wet it'll get shorter and super curly."
"That's really cool! I wish my hair could do that."
"Well. What I do is I braid my hair and take it out and then it's curly sometimes Kayla." Kylie gave her a hug so she wouldn't be sad. Then this boy came over to our table.
"Hi, My name is Jayden." He sat down and helped me with my projects.
"Hi. I'm Bella, but you already know that I guess. Thank you for the help."
"It's okay." He smiled and kept cutting out stuff for me to glue down.

"Yeah, and he helped me with my work Uncle Fin!" He laughed and handed me a soda.
"But then Kayla and Kylie kept teasing him. It was kinda funny."
"Was it a playful kind of teasing? Or was it mean?"
"Playful. We were all laughing."
"Good. Remember to never say anything that'll hurt someone's feelings." I nodded and drank my ginger ale.
