"Alright girls. Choose your kayak." There were red, blue, and yellow ones.
"Wanna bet that the red one is faster?"
"I think the blue is probably way faster." Penelope added. She put her short hair in a pony and took the blue one.
"I'll just take yellow one." I sniffed and got in it. Lemonade was talking and telling us how to kayak and stuff but I didn't feel too good. I had a bit of a cold, in the summer.
"Bella, how many times do I have to tell you to either ask me to dry your hair or wrap it? You're going to get sick if you go to bed with wet hair."
And she was right. I woke up the morning feeling sick. But what if I got it from another girl? I saw a girl sneezing and having to blow her nose. But she could be allergic to something.
"Bella, come on!" Anne yelled excitedly. She's one of my new friends.
"I'm coming." I said in a low voice. I paddled as fast as I could but my arms felt weak and sore. I just wanted to rest.
"Hey, are you okay?" Blueberry asked.
"No." I started to cry a little and Blueberry paddled closer.
"Hey, do you wanna talk about something?"

Yaker's Alley (Noah's Perspective)
"How can you be homesick already dude?"
"What's wrong with missing my sister?" I passed the ball and Jackson made a 3-pointer.
"Are you guys twins or something?"
"She's my younger sister." All of a sudden Bella appeared.
"Noah!"
"Bro, I swear she likes you or something. She's always coming after you."
"Noah, can you help me with something?"
"What now?"
"Is Noah being unfriendly and uncooperative?! Because we all know what that means."
"Sure Bella. I'll come." I sighed and passed the ball.
"Good luck." My friends said. She dragged me to a tree and sat next to me.
"Why do you always chase me and stuff during free time? I just want to play basketball."
"And I want to tell you something."
"What is it?" I said, slightly annoyed.
"Don't tell anyone." She held my hand and looked me dead in the eyes.
"Okay. I won't. Stop being weird."
"I-I like you Noah." Ohhh... that explains everything, the pulling, the hitting, all of that.
"If a person has to be hitting you and everything because they like you, that means something Noah." Mom looked at me and put her hand on her back.
"Hello? Isn't this where you should tell me if you like me back or not."
"Bella, you're a cool person. But, I don't like you like that."
"O-oh. Okay." She frowned a little and we kinda just sat there, not knowing what to say or  do.

Lunchtime (Bella's Perspective)
Instead of going to lunch with everyone I ended up laying down and taking a rest.
"Bella, are you in pain?" Blueberry asked. I was one of her favorites so that's why she stayed with me.
"No," I hate staying still, when I stay still I tend to think about the worst memories. And I don't want that.
"Bella, what's wrong? Is something bothering you?"
"What? No, I'm fine..." I said while getting up to blow my nose.
"You looked a bit sad for moment."
"Homesickness I guess." I wasn't homesick anymore but I decided that, that "excuse" was better than the truth. The truth that I wasn't allowed to tell anyone.
"It's okay to be homesick. How about this, why don't we give your Mom a call tonight after evening activities?"
"That sounds nice."
"Bella, is something else the matter?"
"Why would you ask that?"
"Usually when I tell a kid that, they get super happy, but you still look sad."
"I'm fine." I said defensively.
"I'll take your word for it." The nurse came back and Blueberry got up to go leave.
"Feel better Bella."
"Thank you."
"Bella, are you feeling any better?"
"A little. I feel less dizzy now." I drank a cup of water and stared at the ceiling. I want Oreos.. I closed my eyes tiredly until it all became darkness and then a dream.

Evening Activities
We just finished singing camp songs and we were making s'mores! I love s'mores and at camp I could have as much as I wanted without Mommy telling me to stop.
"I dropped my marshmallow!" Penelope yelled. She frowned as she watched it melt in the fire pit.
"Here, take this one."
"Thank you." Penelope smiled happily as she made another one.
"Bella, can I tell you something?"
"Yeah."
"You're a really nice friend."
"Thank you." I blushed and ate my s'mores. I liked Penelope. She was super cool, and super nice too.
"You're welcome."
"Can I ask you something?"
"Uh-huh." She muffled while stuffing her face.
"Do you live in Manhattan? Or Long Island?"
"Manhattan!"
"Really?"
"Yeah!"
"I live there too, that's so cool. Maybe we could even go to the same school! Kylie, come!" Kylie ran over and looked at us.
"What did I miss?"
"Penelope lives in Manhattan!"
"You should have a sleepover with us!"
"My Mama would say yes!" We all started jumping up excitedly.
"Girls, it's time for scary stories." We all sat down and looked at the counselors.
"What are you gonna tell us?"
"About the Cookie Monster!" She said scarily.
"Isn't he in Elmo?"
"This Cookie Monster is way different. Trust me." Kayleigh said.
"Legend says Cookie Monster started off as a camper."
"Way back in the early days of Camp Blue Bay there was a camper named Cassie." Cherry, the 6-7 counselor started off.
"This is already so freaky and it didn't even start yet."
"Cassie loved to eat girl scout cookies. Every time we gave out cookies she'd eat as much as she could! One day, Cassie disappeared after evening activities."
"Everyone had asked, where is Cassie?! There was a big search group composed of nearly all of the counselors out in the woods looking for her. And you know what they found?!"
"What?!" We all shouted. We were all curious to know what they found in the woods. Was it Cassie? Was it someone or something else? Who knows?!
