Bella's Forth Of July Pt.2

Bella was up early as usual so we sat out on the hammock for a little while. I rocked it back and forth while she was on on my phone playing a game. I gave her a kiss and she put her head on me.
"What do you do in that game?"
"You take all of the land. Oh no, you're not taking my land you loser."
"Woahh there buddy."
"Sorry." She flashed a cute smile and kept playing.
"Can I try?"
"Sure mommy. Here look. Take all of it mommy! Goo goo! Yay you killed him." My daughters face lit up as I acquired more land. Unfortunately, I died right after but that didn't matter to her. What mattered was that Mommy was good at something. I swear, kids are the true teachers of what love really is.
"You did so good mommy!" She gave me a kiss and I tickled her in return.

"We have a lot of stuff to do today."
"Because it almost 4th of July!"
"Yes, so we need to go do some food shopping."
"What do we have to get?"
"Some vegetables, some fruits. Hmm, and some more snacks and seasonings."
"Can I get gummies?"
"If you behave."
"I'll behave!" Noah said. I gave him a kiss and a hug.
"Where's Bell?"
"I saw her in the room playing dolls."
"She's so quiet, that's weird. Let me go check on her." I was afraid that Bella would get upset and cry again so I went up to her room and I saw her in fetal position on the ground. Oh no, not again!
"Bella?" I whispered. I went over to realize that she was just sleepy. I picked her up and put her on the bed.
"Mommy?"
"Yes?"
"What we doing?"
"We're gonna go shopping boo boo. So you gotta go shower soon." I pulled out some clothes for her and put them on the bed.
"But I not stinky."
"I know, but still. I'll let you put on perfume afterwards."
"Okay mommy." She went into the bathroom and closed the door. I knocked on the door.
"Do you want help baby?"
"I think I could do it myself."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah." She opened the door and handed me her clothes.

Costco (Bella's Perspective)
"Mommy, we should get the cookies. I love them soo much!" My mom nodded and checked something off her list.
"They look like America. I think I need help." I struggled to put them in the cart.
"Now we need juice!"
"Caprisun?" My brother said.
"That too, and some sodas." Mommy looked around at the caprisuns.
"Let's get the original flavors." Noah put them in the cart.
"Can we get ginger ale too?"
"Yes sweetheart." She went and put them under the cart with some other sodas.
"Do we have hot dogs and hamburgers?"
"We need some more, thanks for reminding me bud." After that we went and got some fruits and veggies. When we were back in the car I asked mommy a question.
"Mommy?"
"Yes?"
"Why don't we have a secret code?"
"What secret code?"
"Like for girls stuff."
"What girls stuff?"
"I dunno yet." I laughed and covered my face.
"Just wait till we get home." Mom said while laughing with Noah and I.

Fourth of July
"Good morning mommy and Uncle." I gave them both a hug and mommy a kiss.
"Morning love bug."
"Morning my sweet pea." Mommy was chopping up fruit for later.
"Can I help?"
"Sure, can you take the grapes out of the fridge?"
"Yes mommy!"
"She's so energetic." My other Uncle, Uncle Dominic, but I like calling him Uncle Carisi was here helping mommy. He isn't usually here so it was exciting.
"That's what I love about her." I gave it to her and she washed them. Uncle Carisi was doing the hamburgers I think.
"What you doing after this?"
"I'm gonna make lasagna, and some stuffed peppers."
"What about the other stuff?"
"I made it last night honey."
"But I wanted to help!"
"You can help me now. Pass me the oranges." I gave her them and sighed.
"I always have to go to bed early."
"It's so you won't be cranky."

People were coming to the party and it was really nice... but wet. Noah kept splashing me and it was getting me annoyed.
"Bella, can you come here, I want you to meet someone." I walked over and there was this guy. I didn't even know who he was.
"This is my little munchkin. Say hi to Munch."
"Hi. Do you like munchkins?" Mommy picked me up.
"I don't know, do I?"
"Well your name is munch so yeah you do. You're very silly."
"He's silly isn't he?"
"You know Liv, I'm glad you've gotten a life outside of SVU. Your kids are beautiful."
"I'm glad too. And thanks."
"When did you get Bella by the way?"
"Last year April. I rescued her from a warehouse. Hey Bella, why don't you go do an activity or swim in the pool?"
"Okay mommy. Mommy where do I put my shorts?"
"Put them back upstairs. And your goggles and floaties missy."
"Okay." I went over to my uncle fin first and he put me on his lap.
"Hey Princess!"
"Hi, can you swim with me?"
"Sure, go change and I'll be in the pool." I gave him a kiss and then went upstairs. I took off my shorts and put on my goggles and floaty.
"Excuse me." I went over to the pool and Uncle Fin was in there. He put his hand out and then held me in the water.
"It's cold! But I like it!" Uncle Fin let go of me and I fell into the cold water!
"Hey!"
"Now, I splash you!" We splashed each other and then he said,
"Show me your swimming Bella."
"Okay!" I swam around him and then he clapped.
"Good job!"
"Thank you. BUT LOOK AT MY TRICK." I did a handstand in the water and when I got back up I coughed. That hurt my nose.
"That was cool!"
"Thank you!" My mommy came over and took a picture of me and my uncle before I went back and played again.

"Mommy this was the best Fourth of July ever!" I said while looking at the fireworks.
"I'm glad it was honey. I'm glad it was." Noah and I sat on her lap and she gave us both a kiss as there were various colors all over the place.
