Dresses

I rolled the ball across the floor and watched Blue bounce over and chase the ball. I chuckled and watched as the O2L boys help Sam move majority of his stuff into the guest room.

"Good boy, Blue!" I rubbed his ears and kissed his face and he let out a small bark and I giggled as he jumped up and kissed my face.

I went into the kitchen and took his dog bowls. I filled up his water and gave him 2 cups of food and placed it by the wall and he started eating.

I walked in to see Sam fixing his room and I smiled. I saw him putting up pictures on his dresser of us and his family. I kissed his cheek and sighed.

"This is gonna be fun, sam." I smiled widely and he hugged me tightly. I felt my phone buzz and I took it out and saw a text from Dakota.

From Kota- hey uhm, can I call you?

I pressed call on her contact and went outside on my porch.

"Hey"

"Hey, Kota. What's up?"

"I can't pay my rent anymore. I need a place, I'm sorry I'm asking but please help me out with this?" I sighed and an idea popped in my head.

"Sam just moved in with me! You can take his place at the O2L house, girl. Just text Connor." I said and she squealed over the phone.

"Thank you! I'll be over there with my stuff in about 4 hours, bye bye!"

"Bye." I hung up the phone and ran to Sam.

"Kota is moving in next door! She's taking your room, she can't pay her rent."

He nodded as he focused on the dog and I gasped. "My job!" I grabbed my keys and ran to the car, I was still in sweatpants and looked bad but I sped off to the cafe.

I ran in and caught my breath when I saw Janet, the manager.

"Ma'am, Hazel Monet. I can explain, I apologize for not being able to-"

"Hello Hazel! Oh im sorry we weren't open for about 2 weeks because we had to have inspections and renovations." She gave me a smile and I decided to play it off.

"That's why it was closed." I trailed off. "When can I start?" I asked and she looked at some papers she had.

"How about tomorrow? 10:30am?" I nodded and shook her hand before I walked out. I dropped down in the car seat and let out a huge sigh.

"Thank you, lord." I whispered as I started the car and drove back home.

"Looks great, Dakota." I said examining her new room in the O2L house and she sighed.

"Yep. Can you help me find out what to wear for tomorrow night?" I asked and I nodded as I moved to her closet.

I watched her pull out 4 dresses and I eyed them carefully. I smiled and held up a pink and blue faded dress against her that went down to her knees.

It was a high-low dress and I knew if I curled her hair, she would look beautiful.

"This one. What time is the date?"

"8:00pm."

"Perfect, I'll be off work so I can totally come over and help you do your hair and get you prepared." I giggled and she was bubbling with excitement.

"Thanks sis!" She hugged me and I hugged her back as we swayed side to side.

"No problem."
