Birthday

Acacia. Look out. I may murder you. I was literally so pissed off I tried my best not to punch everyone that talked to me.

"Hazel!" I heard a crowd of people yell my name and my heart nearly stopped beating. A round of laughs was made and Jack J came over.

"C'mon, Hazel. It's cake and present time!" Jack J clapped and I rolled my eyes. I sat down in a chair and saw 18 candles placed on a HUGE cake and 'Happy Birthday Hazel' written in cursive.

They sang happy birthday and I awkwardly sat there not really knowing what to do. Like everyone else would if they were me.

I blew out the candles and everyone clapped. I smiled widely and I took a couple pictures with everyone. I was really trying to enjoy this party, but I couldn't take my mind off of Sam.

He still wasn't down here and there was no sign of Acacia either. Even if I did lay eyes on here, someone would have to call the cops by the time I'm done with her.

I took a deep breath and pushed the thought aside. "Hey Hazel." Kian said smiling and I fake smiled. Sam was still on my mind.

"Have you talked to Sam? He has a great present for you." He smiled and I felt like I could punch Kian for mentioning him.

"Yeah the great present was seeing Sam snogging with this Acacia bitch." I scoffed and took a drink of my soda.

I noticed Kian's mouth was hanging open and I chuckled. He slammed his glass bottle down and it shattered everywhere, some of the shards cutting me slightly.

I watched as Kian ran upstairs and I didn't even care. The party got quiet and all I could hear was the muffled yelling and screaming of Kian's voice.

I watched as Kian walked back down the stairs and I didn't look up at him.

"I took care of him, sunshine." I felt his hand come on my shoulder and I looked up at him, smiling with the tears in my eyes.

"Did you hurt him?" I asked still concerned for Sam.

"I just slapped him twice. I didn't do much damage."

"Was she with him?"

"Y-yes. I walked in on them kissing, nothing really more." My chin began to shake as a tear fell.

"I'll kill her." I heard Andrea, Lia, and Dakota all say at once and it brought a small smile to my face.

"No, guys it's fine. If she makes him happier... It-it's fine." I sniffled and I was engulfed in a huge hug.

"Now it's time to kill my step brother." Dakota said adjusting her bra, slightly pushing them up and together. I couldn't help but laugh along with Lia and Andrea.

"Literally me." Lia chuckled and I shrugged. "Kota, it's fine. He made me happy and i dont care if I'm just some charity case."

"You're not a charity case!" Andrea gasped at my words and I sighed. "You're so beautiful, Hazel. I really mean it, I can't believe Sam would do this." Lia sighed and I shrugged.

"I was just blinded, I guess." I teared up again but shrugged it off.

"Yeah, he made you happy, but he is also making you miserable! Don't you see?" Dakota pointed out and I sighed.

"Can we please just try to have fun?" I asked raising my eyebrows and standing up, "I mean," I started off and adjusted my dress, "this is a party right? My party, so let's have fun!" I smiled and we all hugged as we wend outside onto the porch and the music was playing loudly.

"Let's dance!" Lia shouted and we all started to dance to the music. I never knew Dakota could dance so well!!! It was kind of difficult to dance to some of the trap music, but I was actually having fun.
