My King

Chapter Three

Ash's PoV

     So... John wants me to get to know his friend Seraphina better, fair enough. I'm pretty sure I've met all my friends, and enemies, through him so I mean... why not? I trust John's judgment of people, especially when he's faking cripple. I hum as I'm following him down the street to the boba shop that they usually hang out at. We see Seraphina waiting for us and John calls out to her.

      "Hey, Sera! We're here" She turns towards us and smiles, seems nice enough. We head into the shop and wove through the tables to join her in the corner booth.

      "So Ash, you and John have been friends for a while?" Seraphina asks looking at me. I couldn't help but grin.

      "Mhmm know him since we were 3" I smirk, "He was so cute when he was little~" Sera laughed at this.

      "Well, what happened?" We both burst out laughing and John throws his arms up, exasperated.

      "I didn't want you two to get to know each other so you could tag-team insult me!" We laughed and continued talking. Sera and I were actually getting along quite well, she seemed really nice and a genuine friend to John. Everything was fine until...

      'What the actual fuck is Arlo doing here? Dammit, he's gonna ruin this perfectly good Saturday with his- wait for a second!'

      "Hey, Ash? Whatcha looking at?" John asked, raising an eyebrow.

     "Hmmm? Oh, it's nothing just got lost in thought" I said with a smile. Arlo walked by us but I could tell he was looking at John while he did. I almost growled. John is my King and I will protect him in every way I can. I'm not gonna let Asslo break his heart. I make sure Arlo sees my glare and he narrows his eyes. He sat down behind us with some pink-haired girl. His girlfriend maybe?

      "Hey uh... Ash don't look now but, Arlo and Remi are behind you. They are the King and Queen of Wellston." Sera says looking worried,

      "Oh yes I've meet Asslo," I said with a smirk. I heard a rather offended sounding noise from behind me. "Absolutely shattered his weak ass barrier," I say with a smug ass look on my face. Sera choked on her boba.

      "You- you broke his barrier?!?" She stuttered and I nodded. She looked amazed and confused at the same time.

      "Mhmm my ability Shadow Reality was strong enough to break his barrier" I made a small shadow fox on the table and it ran around in a circle before dispersing. Seraphina stared at it amazed and rather impressed. 

      "Wow! I've never seen an ability like that before!" I smile.

      "So what's your ability?" I asked, trying to learn more about our new friend.

      "Oh I can freeze and reverse time," she says with a smile.

       "Oh wow! So time manipulation, that's pretty awesome." I smile. Suddenly the girl, Remi(?), screams and I can't help but look over. She's crying and Arlo seems alarmed.

       "I THOUGHT YOU CARED ABOUT REI" She cried. Two people come up, a girl and a guy, and the girl throw her coffee on Remi.

       "You ruined our date bitch." The guy said and I stood up, rather pissed they thought they could treat her that way. Activating my ability I growled.

      "What gives you the right to treat her that way you lowly mid-tier?" They look at me and so does Remi.
