Part 5

Y/N's Father's POV

"Y/N! Wait-" I said but she's already upstairs in her room and lock her own door so I can't come in.

I decided to walk upstairs and lean against her door to hear her cries and sobs.

"I-I'm sorry Y/N..." I trailed off.

"I-I'm gonna talk to them about this, I will tell them that I won't let you marry his son anymore and find another girl to replace you..." I said to my daughter before walking downstairs to make a letter for Haewon.

Y/N's POV

I was laying down my bed, still crying about it when I heard my father's footsteps coming to my door.

"I-I'm sorry Y/N..." My father suddenly spoke from outside my door.

"I-I'm gonna talk to them about this, I will tell them that I won't let you marry his son anymore and find another girl to replace you..." My father said to ne before he walks away from my door.

-Flashback-

"A-and...the butler told me that your uncle Haewon was looking for a girl to marry his son to continue his throne because your uncle Haewon is dying because of his heart disease..." My dad continued.

"What?! I didn't know that uncle Haewon has a heart disease!...and a son..." I said to my father, getting worried about my uncle Haewon.

"And your uncle Haewon asked me if...you can marry his son..." My dad said to me in a low voice.

"WHAT?! ME? MARRY HIS SON?! HELL NO, DAD! I'M TOO YOUNG FOR IT!" I shouted, standing up from the couch.

"W-what did you say, dad?" I asked him curiously.

"A-and I said yes..." My father said to me.

"Y-you said yes?..." I said to him in a low tone.

"But dad, you know I'm not into that marriage stuff yet! I'm a simple girl with a simple life who wants to finish school!" I said to my dad.

"I-I'm sorry Y/N but he's my best friend, this is only way to repay him for his kindness to me..." My dad said to me as he placed his hands on both of my shoulder.

-End Of Flashback-

I think I should have agreed too...since my father sacrificed for me when my mother died.

My father was always there for me...

Instead of drinking and getting drunk, he stayed with me and took care of me until now...

-Flashback-

"Once upon a time, there was a little girl who's name is Y/N" My mother said as she tells me a story to me.

"She lives at a far away palace, together with her father and mother..."  My mother continued as I smile and listen to her own story to me.

"Until an evil witch invaded their kingdom!" My mom said in a playfully scary tone as she attacked me with tickles.

"S-stop!" I managed to say through my laughs because of my mom's tickles.

We are all happy until my mother died because of Cancer. The doctors tried their best to keep her alive but they can't.

"Y/N, I want you to be happy with your father even when I'm not in your side anymore..." My mother said that was lying on the hospital bed, saying her last words to me.

I take in her words and cry on front of her, knowing that this will be last time I will see my mother so I hugged her and she hug me back.

"Be good to your father, okay?" She asks and looks at me one last time and I nodded before her lifeline became a straigh line.

"N-no!" I shouted as my tears became like waterfalls.

My dad held me back and went out of the room as the doctors performed a CPR on her but they didn't succeed.

I look at my dad and ask him.

"Dad? Is Mommy gonna still be with us?" I asked my dad as he kneeled down to reach my height.

"No sweetie, but she will still gonna be there for us because she's watching us from above..." My dad said to me as I hug him really tight.

"I don't mommy to go..." I cried on my dad's shoulder as he calmed me down.

Ever since mom died, my father has been doing all the works that my mom is always doing. Some of my classmates said that their dad is a bastard because they're not taking care of their children.

And thankfully, my dad isn't like theirs, he's actually the best father in the world. He always takes care of me and watch me until I fall asleep.

"Once upon a time, there was a girl who's name is Y/N..." My father said, telling me the same story that my mom told me before.

"She lives at a far away palace, together with her father....and mother who's watching them from above..." My father said to me, making the story interesting.

"Until a wicked witch invaded their kingdom and attack them!" My father playfully said as he tickled me that made me laugh so hard until my dad finally stopped.

"Thank you for being the best dad ever..." I said to him as I place my arms around my father and give him a kiss on the cheek.

-End Of Flashback-

I remembered everything that my dad did for me.

And I was thinking that I need to thank him back for all the things he did for me.

Maybe, agreeing to the arrange marriage he's talking about...

"I can't believe I'm doing this..." I said to myself as I stood up from my bed and walk out of my room to go look for my father.

I walked downstairs to see him making a letter for someone.

"Dad?" I said that made him look at me.

"Oh, you're still awake...what are you doing here, sweetie?" My dad asked as he stopped writing.

"Dad, I'm finally agreeing to marry my uncle's son for you dad, so I can repay you for all the sacrifices you did for me..." I said to my dad.

"Sweetie, you don't have to-" I cut my dad off.

"No, dad. I'm doing this so I can help you..." I said to him.

"O-okay..." He said to me as I walk towards him.

"Even though I hate getting married, I'm doing it for you, dad..." I said to my father as I hug him tight.

I'm gonna regret getting married soon or after...
