Y/N's POV

Me and Hyunjin sat on the large couch while my father sat on the other couch.

"So, you two are now friends?" My father asked us.

"Uhm, more than friends..." I said to my father.

"Ah, so you two fell in love with each other..." My father said to us as we nodded.

My father let out a chuckle that was followed by our chuckles too.

"It's great seeing you two so close together..." My father said to us.

"It reminds me of my wife and I..." My father added that made me look down on the floor.

My father noticed me looking down on the floor before looking at Hyunjin.

"Oh...I forgot to tell you, Y/N's mother already passed awa-" Hyunjin cut my father off.

"She already told me..." Hyunjin said to him as my father nodded.

"You know, Y/N is a nice and well-mannered kid, she loves her family so much..." My father said to him.

"Really?" Hyunjin asked him as my father nodded at him.

"Yes...she's also sensitive too..." My father added.

"So if you say or do some things to her that made her mad, she cries easily..." My father said to him.

"I know..." Hyunjin said in a low tone.

"You know? So that means that you made her cry before?" My father stand up from his seat.

"Ah! No dad-" I said, calming my father and making him sit back in his seat again.

"H-he made me chop some onions and that's why..." I lied to my father before letting out a fake and awkward laugh.

"Okay...I'm a nice man and I really don't want anyone making my daughter cry, if they did, they will face me and their consequences..." My father said to him before he sits back down in his seat.

"Dad, it's okay..." I said to my father, making him stop glaring at Hyunjin.

"Okay...back to Y/N..." My father trailed off.

"When Y/N's mother died, I stood as a single father to her and give her all what she needs, Y/N also wanted to help me in cleaning and feeding the horses at the backyard and that's how Y/N started loving horses..." My father said to him.

"You have horses at the backyard?" Hyunjin asked us and I nodded.

"Yeah, we've been taking care of horses for years..." I said to him.

"Wanted to come outside and see them?" My father asked him and Hyunjin nodded.

"Sure..." Hyunjin agreed as we both stand up from the couch and go to our backyard.

My father was the first one to exit the house as he lead us to the shelter of the horses.

"So here are our horses, some jockeys always borrow them for the race..." My father said to Hyunjin, giving him information about these horses.

"That one over there is Y/N's favorite horse..." My father pointed at the white horse that was eating hay.

"The horse's name is Van, Y/N named it, short for vanilla..." My father said to him, making me cringe.

"I'm bad at naming..." I mumbled to Hyunjin.

"Don't worry, I like it..." Hyunjin mumbled back at me.

"Wanna ride Van again?" My father asked me.

"Oh yes! I miss Van so much..." I said as my father took out Van out of his shelter.

I hug Van the horse real tight as my put a saddle on Van so I can ride it.

"Okay you two have fun, I'll be going back inside and do something, okay?" My father said to us as I nodded.

We watched my father go back inside the house before I hop on the horse.

"Woah, be careful!" Hyunjin said to me, holding horse so I will not fall.

"It's okay Hyunjin, my father taught me how to ride a horse before..." I said to him as I pet Van's head before making him run fast.

"Y/N!" Hyunjin shouted at the distance as I controlled the horse and make him run to the direction I wanted.

"Woo!" I said in happiness as I go back to Hyunjin and stop there.

"That was really fun, you should try it..." I said to Hyunjin as I hop off the horse.

"O-okay..." Hyunjin said as he hop on Van next.

"Be careful, Van can be really fast sometimes and uncontrolla-" I was cut off when the horse started running.

"Hyunjin!" I shouted at the distance as I watch him freak out because of the speed that the horse is running.

I watched Hyunjin lose grip of the strap and fell down the horse.

"Hyunjin!" I shouted as I run towards him.

Van eventually stopped.

"Hyunjin, are you okay?" I asked him as I kneeled down on the ground and put his head on my lap.

"Y-yeah, I'm okay...my back kinda hurts a little..." Hyunjin said to me as he winced in pain.

"Let me help you get up..." I said as I stood up from the ground and help Hyunjin up.

"Like I said, Van can be really fast and uncontrollable sometimes..." I said to him while I dust him off.

"Let's just the clean the horses instead, we don't want anyone to get injured anymore..." I added before we walk Van back to his shelter.

As we went back there, Hyunjin decided to feed the horses while I wash the others.

I glance at Hyunjin who's feeding the horses.

I decided to point the hose at him as the water wet his back.

"What the hell-" Hyunjin said as he suddenly shivered at the coldness.

"Oops, my bad..." I said as I hide my laugh and continue bathing the horse again.

"You'll regret that..." Hyunjin said to me with a smirk before he grabs the hose in my hand and pointed it at me.

"Hey!-" I said to him as I run away from him.

"Where are you going? I'm not done yet!-" Hyunjin said jokingly as he chased me.

"Stop!-" I said, hiding a smile, trying to get the hose from him.

The hose wet us together as we slip on the ground and Hyunjin fell on top of me.

We stared at each other in the eyes as our faces are getting close to each other.

I close my eyes when I felt Hyunjin's lips on top of mine when I felt some cold water on me.

"Fool you..." Hyunjin said, getting up from the ground and walk away, turning the hose off.

"You son of a-" I said as I get the sponge and throw it at him.

"What? Seriously, oh, you really want to get in trouble..." Hyunjin said as he throw some foam at me but I dodged it.

Y/N's father POV

I lied to them, I wasn't actually doing something, I was watching them from the window and they are happily playing with each other.

Maybe I was wrong about Hyunjin after all...
