Hyunjin's POV

Me and Y/N started to waltz as all the people here inside the palace danced with us.

Me and Y/N stared at each other for a while as we danced together.

Is it now time to confess?

I think it is...

"Y/N?" I mumbled to her while we dance.

"Yeah?" She mumbled to me.

"I-I wanna say something..." I said to her as we started moving.

"What is it?" She asked me as I twirled her around.

"I-I think I'm falling for-" I was cut off when we got separated and dancing with other people now.

Dammit.

All of the people changed partners because it's part of the dance until I finally return to Y/N.

"Finally...what I wanted to say is-" I was cut off when the orchestra made a loud ending sound of the song that they're playing.

I placed my hand on her back as she leans back on my hand while we stare at each other.

She leans back up again and our faces are suddenly close to each other.

The people started clapping at us.

I need to confess to her...

I suddenly grab her hand gently and escape the room and lead her to the balcony that is quieter than here.

As we're finally there at the balcony, I turn around and look at her.

"Wait, why are we here? The feast isn't over yet..." Y/N said to me.

"I-I have something to tell you..." I said that made her look at me.

"What is it?" She asked me.

We stared at each other for a while when I remembered something that my father told me.

"If you're doing it for me, you might as well obey me, and what I'm telling you to do is to learn how to love her, even when she doesn't love you back, because I know that someday, you will find yourself both falling for each other..." My father said.

"Y/N, remember the time, I said some bad things to you that..." I trailed off.

"Yeah...why?" She asked me confusedly.

"I'm really sorry that time, I didn't know what have gotten into me- I-" She cut me off.

"Hyunjin, past is past, I already forgave you..." She said to me.

"No Y/N...you made me realized something that time..." I said to her.

"Made you realized what?" She asked me again.

"I said those things to you because I still couldn't get over the time when my girlfriend left me, I started getting cold to you until those words slipped off my toungue..." I trailed off, remembering the scene.

-Flashback-

"Y/N, I did that so everybody knows that we're a couple. What will they say if we are married to each other but hate each other? The royal Hwang family will get embarrassed because of us, because their son gets married to an unknown stranger like you just to get the king's throne..." I said to her
