Hyunjin's POV

"You lied, Hyunjin..." Chaeyoung said to me.

"You and Y/N are just arranged to get married to each other..." Chaeyoung added.

H-how did she know?

"What are you talking about, Chaeyoung? We love each other..." I said to her as I was about to go upstairs.

"Oh yeah? Your wife said it all..." Chaeyoung said as I stopped in my tracks and look at her.

"You two met?" I asked her.

"Yes Hyunjin, I saw her at the bookshop and she told me that you two are arranged married and definitely don't have feelings for each other..." Chaeyoung said to me.

"W-why did you lie to me, Hyunjin? Do you really don't want to see me anymore?" Chaeyoung asked me, in the verge of crying.

"What if I say yes?" I trailed off.

"Are you gonna stay away from me now?" I asked her.

"Hyunjin-" Chaeyoung said as she's about to hug me but I stopped her.

"You barely have time for me back then, all you have in mind is your stupid career and abandon our relationship, do you really want to be famous so bad?" I said to her.

"Chaeyoung, I had waited for you for a long time but you did not come to our dates..." I added.

"And yes, I will say it, what Y/N said is right, we are just arranged married so I can take my father's throne when he died and you don't even know that, when you are still at Australia for days, me and Y/N are getting closer as ever and fell in love with each other..." I said to her as she stayed quiet.

"Me and Y/N hated each other at the start, you left me and I became cold to others, but Y/N...you don't know that I just made her feel unloved, and that caused us to think that I became like that to her because of you, so she changed me, she made me feel happy again..." I said to her as her tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Hopefully, that can make you stop from coming here anymore..." I added before turning around and go back upstairs when Chaeyoung suddenly hug me from behind.

"Hyunjin, I'm so sorry- I love you, I thought about you everytime, I wish I was there for you- I should have chosen you instead of my career..." Chaeyoung said to me from behind, still hugging me.

"You can't do anything about it anymore, Chaeyoung..." I said to her as I remove her hands around me.

"C-can we have a last date instead? I promise that in the end of our date, I will not bother you and Y/N anymore..." Chaeyoung said to me as I look at her.

"I just wanna be with you before I say goodbye to you two..." Chaeyoung said to me as she pleads.

Just promise that you won't bother us anymore...

Hyunjin's Mother's POV

I was currently at the garden, drinking some tea as I read a book and watching the gardeners water our plants until my phone suddenly rings.

I put my tea down and get my phone that was beside me and answer the call.

"Hello?" I said through the call.

"Well, hello there, Jungha..." A female voice said to me.

"Excuse me, who are you and how did you know my name and plus, I'm a royalty so you gotta respect me..." I said to her.
