Gray's P.O.V

I puff out as I cross my arms; my body sprawled onto the leather couch, and the house as quiet as a killer's lair.

I stare at Kei's call logs once more before deciding to head upstairs in my evening pajamas. Pajamas are cozy after showers, and Reid's not here to father me so why not?

Though I certainly wish he was.

It's been almost a month since the little accident. I'm glad that Kei's healing but I haven't heard anything of Reid. Every time I visit, he always comes running out. But Kei told me that he's alright, so he's alright.

Physically.

A little longer. I tell myself, shaking my head. Reid will tell me soon, time is all he needs. Then he'll come home—we'll go back to slouching on couches. We'll go back to cuddles and hugs.

I regret throwing my phone onto the bed seeming that I need it once more. Staring at my closet, I realize that I have 'nothing' to wear. Well, of course, I do. But where's the fashion guru when I need him?

The one and only Kei.

I quickly grab my phone to call Kei, but think better of it. He might be resting, sleeping after his medication. But then again, he could be awake, doing human interactions with his room partner.

A second later, my phone vibrates, a text screen popping up followed by a single 'quack'

Goldilocks:

Also, for dinner.

I totally suggest a blue knee length. You know the one you wore for Cousin Rachel's party? Ooh and give that babe some nice leather heels yass?

If you're going for a sexier look slap le belt on those hips kek?

Oh and berets—

Okay I'll shut up, have fun~

I snort, throwing myself off the bed and into my closet. I take a blue knee length dress hanging from one of the hooks on the wall; one embedded with little flower gems. Not too much for a blinding bling, but enough to give the dress a little elegance.

I decided to ditch the beret as I put on the belt around my waist. It takes me a while for me to tie my hair, trying to style it into a messy yet elegant bun. Boy do I wish Reid was here. I miss his warm fingers against my neck, so smooth and gentle against my hair.

No, I tell myself. You're a grown woman. You do shit yourself, Gray.

Latching the buckles on my leather boots, I quickly grab my phone and make my way downstairs. I grab a refrigerated sandwich before heading outside, seeing Aunt Lilly waiting in front of the driveway.

She's a woman in her thirties; dark haired tied into an elegant bun, eyes a mixture of green and blue. Her maroon dress drips down her hourglass body, rippling as waves as it stops at her knees.

She beams me a smile, pulling me into a tight, suffocating hug.

"Oh, Gray it's been so long!" She chirps, pinching my cheeks.

"Aunt Lilly, it's only been a few days—"

She puts a quick meaningful kiss on my forehead, a glint of sadness glazed over her eyes.

She's thinking of mom.

Then she waves, gesturing me towards her car. It shines black, a streak of silver lining the door. I quickly hop onto the leather seat, making a weird embarrassing noise as I do so. I put on the seatbelt as Aunt Lilly steps on the gas, our conversation lighting up the mood as we make our way towards a familiar looking building.
