"So if you smoke while pouring gasoline on Reid's head, do you catch fire yourself?" Kei asks, earning my gaze.
Father shrugs, lighting his cigar as he leans into his chair. "Depends." He simply reply, his green gaze on his phone, tapping and tapping.
"I'm not daft, blondie. You don't do tricks with a loaded gun."
"But you commit to sin instead." Loureis mutters, kicking the door open as he balances food on his forearms.
Kei laughs, and Loureis laughs along. He know what's in his head. And I do too.
"You children talk as if you're so pure." Father hisses, glaring at each and every one of us, Loureis putting―throwing―the plate of food at me. Low enough for it to avoid spilling.
"Not gonna lie though. Lying is a sin." Loureis laughs, earning himself a smack on the head as father grabs the back of his shirt, pushing him against the wall before spanking him up the bottom.
He laughs, father's hand spanking him with the force of an angry man. "Bad child." He scolds, gaze ablaze.
"Too bad you're living a lie―" Kei mutters, if only to himself before father gives him one sharp glare. "Does the boy needs some spanking too?" He threatens, sneering at the blondie.
I was about to open my mouth before father points one bony finger at me. "You. Shut up and eat your food."
Kei shrugs, giving me a quick glance before looking back at the man. "Any would want to be spanked by you. Though I don't suppose kissing. You should cut the cigar short."
For a second, I see hurt in father's eyes.
"Kiss? Why would anybody..." He trails off, the hurt on his face clear as day. Though he tries his best to hide it.
Because father knows it too. He knows reality; and he hates it.
In love with a murderer. Why would anybody?
"Reis, drug him." He commands, his cold facade back on.
Loureis looks at the man, concern on his face. "Father―" He calls; but father clicks his tongue, glaring at him with anger in his eyes. "Drug. Him."
Slowly, but surely, he nods. He steps out of the basement, a few minutes later coming back.
"You'll regret saying that, Goldilocks. I'll make your damn friend suffer." He threatens, though I know it is the reality.
He will make it happen.
Loureis takes the cap off the syringe, checking it's content here and there before striding towards Kei.
He squirms in his grasp, kicking and hitting before Loureis grabs his throat. Father dangles the keys to my shackles, taking it off of me as he leads me to the chair screwed to the center.
When I am strapped onto the wooden chair, Kei is silent. His eyes are closed, his body is limp.
He won't remember.
Father's weak spot.
Father smiles, if only to himself. I could feel the poison seeping from his smile, spreading throughout the room as the aura changes around us.
Then, he brings the tray of toys and puts it on the small table beside.
A knife in one hand, a bottle of sulfuric acid in the other.
"Now, shall we begin?"
