"Zelia!" I heard someone scream.

She turned.

"Arnold?" she started running away, but she tuned back. "Arnold, I'll be right there!"

She leaped forward and pinned me to the ground, trying to cut me.

"Zelia!" Arnold yells again, this time more urgently.

Zelia takes off running.

"I'll get you next time!" she yelled.

Suddenly, the little girl from District 9, Amy, runs out of the forest clutching her arm.

She sees me and tries to run but I grab her and pin her to the ground.

"Help!" she screams. "Mommy! Daddy!!"

"It's okay." I soothe her. "Quiet down. I'm not going to hurt you. I need to help."

She slowly stops squirming and holds out her arm. It's a mess of blood and she has torn the sleeve of her sweater off, desperate.

I pick up a strip of wet moss and gently rub it over the wound, before helping her up.

"We're going to need allies in this, don't you think?" I ask gently, and Amy nods.

Suddenly, the massive boy from District 3 runs out of the trees, running straight at me and Amy. And Amy can't move.
