I let out a sob and sink into Shawn's arms.
"What's wrong?" he asks, keeping his always calm tone.
"I'm hurt." I sob. "And this whole thing, these games... It's so wrong! KIDS are KILLING EACH OTHER for the ENTERTAINMENT of a COUNTRY! 5 KIDS HAVE BEEN KILLED BECAUSE WE DECIDED TO FOLLOW ALONG WITH THEIR STUPID GAMES! WE COULD HAVE CHOSEN TO JUST STAND THERE AND NOT DO ANYTHING! WE CHOSE TO PARTICIPATE IN KILLING PEOPLE! THE HUNGER GAMES AREN'T THE HUNGER GAMES WITHOUT THE KIDS FOLLOWING ALONG AND KILLING EACH OTHER!"
