I see Ash leap out of her hiding spot and grab the dagger that had been lodged in a tree.
Throwing it with extreme accuracy, it lodges itself into Dagger's arm and she squeals in pain.
The dagger slips out of her hand and Logan finishes the job, his dagger entering her stomach.
I spot a opening in the Cornucopia and slip inside, pushing Shawn and Amy away. They dash to Ash and disappear into the forest together.
Liam let out a cry of rage as the cannon blows, and he tackles Logan, grabbing the dagger from his hand and sliding it into Logan's stomach. The cannon blows and I hear a cry of agony from the forest. Amy.
Though, Liam still has a job to do. He races towards me and slips into the crack behind me, slipping on black armor as he runs.
I drop my sweater to the side as he drops in and I raise a discarded spear from the floor.
We battle, spear vs. spear, until we both slink into the shadows, gasping for air. I drop to the floor and raise my spear as I see his armor appear.
He frowns.
"You don't have to do this." he whispers. "I can help you eliminate them all."
"I'm sorry." I whisper. "I can't let you do that."
I raise my spear to bring it down on his neck, but before I can, a spear drops onto his head and the cannon blows.
Shawn offers me a hand and we climb out.
"WE WON'T KILL EACH OTHER!" I yell. "WE REFUSE!"
We all raise our spears and I do the three finger salute.
"Alright, alright, alright." the announcer sighs. "The winners of the first annual Hunger Games, Bella Rodriguez, Shawn James, Amy Lancere, and Ashlyn Gragon."
WE SURVIVED THE HUNGER GAMES! WE ACTUALLY DID IT!
