"Shawn?" I mumble, unable to manage any more.
Then, I sink to the ground and my eyes flutter shut.
"GO!" Shawn screamed as Zelia leaped onto his back, pinning him to the ground.
Her dagger entered his back, causing him to sink to the ground, writhing wildly.
"GO!" he screamed again, weaker this time.
"NO!" I scream stubbornly. "I WON'T LEAVE YOU!"
"Go." he whispers one more time and the cannon blows.
I run into the dense foliage (leaves) and I hear Zelia running behind me.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" she taunts as she catches up. "AW, LOOK AT YOU TRYING TO RUN! THERE'S NO ESCAPE, BELLA!"
Her dagger claims another victim as I collapse to the ground, clutching my forearm.
Zelia's going to win the Hunger Games!
I wake up and Shawn grabs my arm, sighing in relief.
