As Naruto texted his parents he was going to Ichiraku's, he turned to Hinata and gave a nervous smile. The night was still fresh, and the sun was just setting. Trees rustled, and the glimmer of the moon started to faintly show.

"Ichiraku is just a walking distance from my house... so are you okay with walking?"

"Yeah, that's cool."

The two walked, still not quite speaking. Naruto's head filled with possibilities for small talk, only to each time be halted by the remembering that he had to be a bit intimate with Hinata. Running through a smooth speech in his head, he swiftly grabbed Hinata's hand. The pale eyed girl looked confused but held back nonetheless.

"I'm sorry for being... a little too close with you, Hinata-chan," He drawled out the honorific, making Hinata turn a slight shade of crimson. "Let me make it up to you." Naruto said in a breathy voice.

"Uh, t-thats, that's o-okay. L-lets just walk q-quicker so we can e-eat... I'm s-starving." Hinata said in a rush, walking at a faster speed. Naruto gave a small smile and jogged up to match his 'girlfriends' speed.

The pair soon reached the famed ramen shop, and the minute they stepped in, all tension was erased. They breathed in the delicious smell of ramen and said 'yum' at the same time, making the two laugh. Walking up to the counter and taking a seat next to each other, a young woman in her early twenties came up to take their order, but looked surprised instead.

"Was it Ayame-niichan?"I asked.

"Mmhmm."

"Naruto-kun? Hinata-chan? Why are you here together? Waaaaiiiiittttt a minute, are you two..." The woman said with a sly smile, her grin wide.

"Er, uh, yes, Ayame-chan... um, yes." Naruto said, already knowing what Ayame was implying. Hinata simply smiled and nodded as well. Ayame smiled, her eyes shining with happiness. Her heart seemed to swell as though she simply couldn't take it anymore.

"OH MY GOD! DAD, GET OVER HERE!" Ayame screeched. Thankfully, no one else was in the quaint shop, so no customers ran away. The top chef and a forty year old man, Teuchi jogged in, out of breath. He looked around startled and likely searching for any signs of danger. Finally finding none, he narrowed his eyes at his daughter.

"WHAT? YOU SCARED ME TO DEATH, AYAME! WHAT IS SO IMPORTANT YOU HAD TO SCREAM?" Teuchi yelled. Ayame gave a cheeky smile and pointed to Naruto and Hinata, who were watching the scene between the father and daughter with amusement. She gave a heart sign, to which Teuchi was confused. He quickly caught on though. He chucked the silver ladle out of his hand, and slammed his hands on the counter. The couple jumped a little, startled.

"IS IT TRUE?" He screeched, just like his daughter. Hinata and Naruto leaned back, confused.

"Is what true?" Hinata whispered, scared of the famed ramen chefs next move.

"THAT YOU AND NARUTO-KUN ARE TOGETHER?" Teuchi yelled with a wide grin. Hinata gulped and nodded.

Ayame put her hand to her head like a 1800's lady would do, and fell to the ground, but Teuchi caught her and lifted her up. The two were smiling faintly, stars in their eyes.

"Do you know how long we have wanted you two together?" Teuchi said dreamily. Naruto shook his head.

"Ever since you two began coming here twelve years ago. FOR TWELVE YEARS WE HAVE WANTED YOU TWO TOGETHER, AND MARK MY STARS, THAT DAY HAS COME! OH MY DEAR LORD, OUR SHIP HAS SAILED, FATHER! NARUHINA SHIPPERS, ALL ABOARD!" Ayame said excitedly. Naruto and Hinata looked at each other, visible blushes in both of their faces. Teuchi gave a loud, joyous laugh.
