Its been three weeks since my bet with Sasuke. I had the best night of my life two days ago. I found the love of my life and confessed to her. I love Hinata Hyūga with all my heart.
I just.... it just felt so good having her by me. I never had any siblings. My parents were often gone because of their jobs. I did have my friends, but...
I always felt something was missing. And when Hinata came, that empty feeling left and was filled with love.
"You're having that crazy smile on your face again, dobe." Sasuke says as he looks up from his book. He's in my room, helping me get ready for a date I was going on in an hour or so. I look in the mirror I was fixing my outfit on and grinned. I'm wearing a orange button up shirt, leather belt, black jeans and date shoes.
"I can't help that I'm in love, teme."
"Yes, you can."
"Okay, buzzkill."
"Shut up."
A weight still hung over me after our fight. It was so long back. I said stuff that was awful, and I still regretted it. I walk to my bed, and sat next to him.
"Sasuke?" I mumble, looking at him. He looks up and frowns.
"Yo, I was at a really good part. What is it?"
"I'm sorry. For what I said. Back then. I was a jackass. I'm sorry." Sasuke looked up and me with a bewildered look on his face. But his surprise went away, and I flop on the bed, awaiting his response.
"I'm sorry too. I was... I was out of hand. I shouldn't have let Sakura take control of our friendship. I should have been calmer. That bet I made... I..."
"Hmm?"
"Never mind. You gotta get going!"
I glance at the clock by my desk and I widen my eyes, jumping from my bed.
"CRAP! I KNOW I HAVE LIKE 45 MINUTES BUT HINATAS HOUSE IS KINDA FAR AND TRAFFIC AND OOF SHE'S GONNA HATE ME FOR BEING LATE AND-," I didn't get to finish my sentence because Sasuke then kicked my crotch. I fall down in pain, looking up at my friend in tears.
"Why, why did you do that?"
"Because your overreacting. She'll wait for you. She will understand. Hinata isn't the type of girl to get mad without a good reason. And stop your moaning. You've been kicked, punched and hurt in your crotch countless times before in football. Don't be a wuss." Sasuke said, hands on his hips. I get up slowly and narrow my eyes.
"You know, next time you're panicking over a date with Sakura-chan, Imma kick your balls."
"Whatever. Now go."
"Okay, okay." Then I run out of my room and slide down the stairs.
"ALSO YOURS ARE TINY, PUNK!" Sasuke shouted, then laughed like a maniac. I decided to punch him later, because I was getting late.
"FUCK YOU!" With that, I run out of my house, leaving a deranged Uchiha behind.
Dad then socked Sasuke-sensei in the stomach.
"Oof..." My teacher crumpled to the floor with a thump and I look at my dad in shock.
"What the hell?" I say, and Dad simply kicked his best friends body who K'O'd.
"I didn't get to punch him after his words, so here you go teme, a deserved punch twenty four years later." My dad said. I didn't want to get into a fight between my father and mentor... it could get intense. So I simply sat on the couch, not daring to help him up.
I looked at Dad, who looked like he had satisfaction buring out of him and rolled my eyes.
"Okay, you gloating old geezer. Continue. Also, heads up, Hima said she's coming over in forty five minutes, so hurry your old ass up." I say quietly, and Dad looked at me with dead eyes.
"I-I look that old?"
"Just continue."
"O-okay..."
I drive silently to my princesses house and smile after remembering our first kiss two days ago. I still couldn't believe I found someone so precious to me...
Damn, I'm really in love with her.
Driving up to the driveway to her massive house, (she's a heiress to a the Hyūga Company anyways, and everyone knows the Hyūgas are the richest family after my dumbass friend's family, the Uchihas.) I take a deep breath and grab the flowers I bought on the way, and thanks to Ino, who's family owned the Yamanaka Flower Shop, I got white lilies, Hinatas favorite.
I opened the door and clutch the flower in my hand, ignoring the panicky feeling in my stomach as I marched to the front door. Ringing the doorbell, I hear hurried steps and smile. The door swung open and I turned red.
She looked so pretty! I mean, I knew Hinata always looked pretty but it always caught me... damn it! She wore a white dress that reached her knees and cut off by her shoulders and arms. Her hair was adorned with rose clips, and she wore leggings and knee boots.
How in the world did I get such an angel to love me?
"N-naruto-kun?" I shook out of my daze and she too, was looking at me with a red face. I scratch my head nervously and smiled.
"Heeeeeeeey....." I desperately looked for a word to say when I felt something brush my leg. Looking down, I sigh in relief.
"H-here! I got these f-flowers for you!" I held out the flowers, and her blushing red face went away, and was replaced with gratitude.
"Wow, they are so pretty! These are my favorites, white lilies! Thank you so much! How did you know?" She exclaimed, her face filled with joy. It was worth being ten minutes late to get these... I wanted to keep that smile on her face forever.
"Oh... Ino told me. I'm glad you like them. Your smile is so pretty, -ttebayo." Her face slowly turned back red, and mine heated up. God, I shouldn't gave said anything! I'm so stupid! Kami!
"OH MY GOD! FOR KAMIS SAKE, LEAVE! YOU TWO HAVE BEEN SO AWKWARD FOR LIKE TWENTY MINUTES! JUST GO!" I hear Neji scream and I kick my leg, forcing myself to move.
"He's right... we should get going. I've got a really fun day planned out. You ready?" I say, holding out my hand. She accepts and I hold her hand firmly.
This day is going to be a blast.
