"But he's not saying anything more." Sasuke-sensei says. Dad lets go of his hug and frowns.
"And why is that? They deserve to know." Dad replies. Sakura-san nods as well.
"Sasuke is right. Naruto, you are way too emotional and tired right now. This can wait until tomorrow morning. And since your in such a mess, Sasuke, Sarada and I are staying over. Its convenient since its Saturday, Sasuke and Sarada have no school, and I have no scheduled patients." She declares. Dad gives a tired laugh.
"Thats Sakura right there." We all give a small chuckle. Accepting the proposal, Dad walks off to his room, leaving the five of us.
"Tomorrows the anniversary," I say. Hima looks at me with a sad smile.
"We're going, right?"
"Dad promised." I say, and give a tired look.
"Its almost ten. Come on girls. I'm sure Hima has some PJ's for you Sarada, no?" The girls walk out, and Sasuke-sensei and I are left.
"My dads lame." I say with a chuckle. Sasuke-sensei smiles.
"Ne, he is. Now go to your room and sleep. I'll make breakfast in the morning." I grin, because senseis breakfasts are the best, but they are rare.
"Hai, hai." I walk to my room, and change into my pajamas, and throw my clothes on the floor. I close the lights, open the blinds to my windows and flop on my bed. I shiver in the cold and reach to put my covers on, but grab my stuffed fox.
I only use my fox when I'm sick or upset. Its the latter. Until now, I forgot who gave me the fox, who's name was Kurama. But when Dad talked about Mom, and when I remembered the song she sung to me, I knew who the fox was from.
It was my birthday gift from my mother when I was three years old.
I clutch it tight to my chest and drifted to sleep, the song memory playing in mind
