We ended up losing.

"Wow." I mumble, slapping my head. Dad stopped speaking looked at me, frowning.

"Huh?"

"See, you made it so climatic that in the end, it sucked. You lost! I thought you were gonna win for Mom and yeah."

Dad smirked and looked at Sasuke-sensei, who smirked as well.

"Well, we did lose. We did gain something far better that night."

"EW, GROSS."

"Get those dirty thoughts out of your head. That's not what happened, dumbass." Sasuke-sensei said with a groan. I rolled my eyes.

"Its not what your thinking, I promise. Its good what happened that night." Dad said with a weird smile on his face. I saw Sasuke-sensei sighing, and punched Dad in the arm.

"You have that same stupid smile, dobe. Also, it was really that night?"

"Huh, really, teme? And yeah, it was that night."

"WE LOST!" I screamed. Sasuke rolled his eyes and ruffled through his wet hair that was from the shower he took five minutes ago.

"You expect we win every game, dumbass?"

"Uh, yeah?"

"Well we aren't perfect. We totally underestimated those guys, even with Gaaras warning."

Shikamaru walked in, tying his hair us and tightening the band.

"Sasukes right, Naruto. We can't always win. Sometimes failure is good, it gives experience. With more training, we can beat them later."

I sulked and sat down, feeling defeated. I really wanted to show Hinata that I was strong and fast and amazing an-

"Put on your clothes dumbass. Remember, we have to met the girls for shakes and fries?" Sasuke said as he knocked my head. I shot up, and slammed my head into the open locker door above me, hit so hard that the sound echoed the room with bang. I hear snickers around me, particularly from one black haired male. Smirking, I socked him in the stomach and he doubled over in pain.

"Deserved it, teme."

"Ah shut up."

"It was funny, bro!" Sasuke-sensei laughed, his face turning red. Dad just narrowed his eyes and slapped his neck, and he yelped in pain.

"ANYways,"

I rubbed my head and reached out to grab my navy blue background, white and red striped t-shirt, a red jacket with a gray vest and khaki pants, my trademark orange Converse completing the outfit. I yanked them on and raised my leg to the bench, tying my shoes. I chuckled when I saw Sasuke and he just rolled his eyes.

The resident pretty boy of Konoha Academy was wearing a white button up shirt with a black leather jacket zipped up over it, a plaid shirt tied to his waist and dark blue skinny jeans with Timberlands as his shoes.

"Fancy, sir." I say with a bow. He punches my arm and we chuckle. Somehow, the enmity between us was erased... I didn't even feel a desire to compete with him anymore.
