this is a short chapter lmao

"Oh Kassie you look absolutely stunning!" My mom says as she hands me my black high heels.

"Thanks mom!" I say giving her a hug.

I've been in school for about a month already, but I only have four friends I think. It's really weird between Ashton and I. We'll be friends at one point, but then we'll get mad at each other and not talk then we'll talk again.

"When is Luke coming again?" My mom asked walking into the kitchen.

"Seven." I say looking at the clock.

6:49 p.m

"Mom he's here." I say opening the door.

"Wow you look so beautiful, Kassie." He said as he pulls me in for a hug.

"Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself." I say laughing.

"Okay, bye mom. I won't be back till midnight love you!" I say kissing her cheek and closing the door before she lectures me.

"Someone's eager to leave." Luke says as he grabs my hand in his.

I'll admit, it's pretty weird going on a date with someone you've been friends with for a month now. I really like Luke, I'm just not sure I like him a lot.

"So, where are we going?" I asked as we got into the car.

"It's a pizza place and after I was just thinking of walking along the beach? Does that sound good?" He asked shakily.

"Yeah, that's perfect!" I say to him giving him a smile as he locked his blue eyes in mine.

"No way! Kassie Summers you are really something!" He said laughing as I told him an embarrassing story.

"I really love today Luke!" I say as we walk together on the beach as we hold hands.

"Thanks Kassie for letting me taking you out on a date." He said swinging our hands.

"I'm gonna admit, I thought you were pretty cute when I first met you." I said as we walk to the car.

"And I can say the same to you." He said smirking pulling me into a hug.

As we pulled from our embrace he cupped my face with his hands and we kissed what felt like forever.

"Sorry." He said chuckling.

"No problem." I say pecking his lips and went in the car.
