I'm Okay

I hold my head in pain, his anger hurt more than his sadness.
What had caused it to be so severe was the fact that he was angered by me.
My body was stressed, I could not help but clench my heart as it attempted to burst from my chest, pounding in my ears like a drum. I searched his thoughts, looking for something to calm me, but all I could find was his intentions of what he would do with me should he be released. I felt something stir in my stomach, then tasted what was to come. I coughed up a mouthful of blood, spitting it on the floor as I knelt on one knee. I looked up at him, my eyes begging for him to think differently. I knew better than to allow myself to get to this state, but my heart was so confused and excited, that the high it was on made the fall too great. I closed my eyes and teleported back to where I had awoken.

A small room, more like a cell, a metal door and a single bed with a side table. I decided to lay down, allowing a single tear from either eye to flow freely, then took a breath and sat back up.

"Get it together, you have got this, you knew this would happen. So why the extreme reaction? Did he cause that? Can he do that to me?"

A knock at the door.

"Enter Thor."

He stepped into the room, a worried and confused expression on his face. "Are you not well?"

"I am fine, I just did not know his powers were of this strength."

"He can not do such things, I am sure."

"I believe he can, to me at least. Though I still lack certainty that it was not my own heart's doing."

"I wish to offer you condolence. To have such a connection would offer great hardship, especially with my brother. I love him dearly, but he seems unreachable, though not to you apparently. I saw his face when you were ill, and when you left his eyes went dull. I believe you truly can help him, and I offer to be of any use I can." He put his arm around me and pulled me into his side for a moment, and I will admit it was greatly appreciated.

"So why are we back on a hellicarrier?" He seemed impressed by my knowledge.
"I assumed Loki would be brought to Asgard."

"That was the original plan, but I believed it to be better if you tried to talk him down first. See if you can bring him back from the brink."

"I shall do my best, and thank you for believing in me and offering solace." I patted his shoulder, then left for the food hall. He followed suit, so I took his hand and teleported there, he stumbled at the change and looked to me.
"I apologise, I forgot to tell you before doing so."

"It's no trouble, please continue." He smiled widely, leaving me to mirror his expression naturally.

Everyone in the room stared in our direction, noticing our entrance and my lack of seeming to belong. I changed my  skinny jeans and black t-shirt to an outfit consisting of a tight, one-piece body suit, similar to Black Widow's design. Though mine was coloured green in many areas, with gold trims and a thick green belt. This was apparently looked down upon, though I did not care. This was what I chose, and I did so because it felt right, my tastes had evolved to be quite in sinc with that of Loki's.

"You seem to match those colours as well as Loki does, I'm impressed."

"Thank you. I had hoped so, they are my favourite. Though I might make one small change." I turned the gold to silver and gave him a wink. He chuckled as I filled my plate.

Thor had filled three plates, holding them with ease.

We sat in a corner. The area was always open, like a cafeteria. Around ten people wandered the room or were seated, eating.
