I awoke to see Loki sitting on the edge of the bed, watching the door.

"You should not have done that."

"No one has come to look for us, and you were in need of it."

"I suppose." I sat up and realised my shoes and armour had been removed, the jar sat upon the side table. "We must keep it hidden. As I am sure you now know, there is a spell preventing any but I from opening it."

Someone banged loudly on the door. After making the jar vanish into thin air, I replaced my removed attire just before the door swung open.

"You are to report to the Allfather."

"What? But why?" I questioned suddenly.

"Treason, you have defied him, your trial is to begin shortly." I searched through the guard's mind to see Sif had spied on us leaving, though knew not that we had teleported. The guards charged in and surrounded us, capturing Loki and merely grabbing me.

We stood trial, and were given the sentence of life imprisonment, as agreed upon when I first visited Asgard, the fact I was believed to be mortal was why it was a harsher sentence than Loki's.
We were thrown into the exact cell Loki had been destined for.

"Wonderful, what a devine plan this was." Loki muttered sarcastically.

"I did not foresee Sif catching us leaving, nor actually giving us up."

"Well if you had not made such a fool of her."

"And if you had not shaved off all her hair."

He smirked at the memory. "So what now?"

"We wait. There is no escape, we must wait until the elves attack during the alignment of the worlds."

"But that is more than a year!"

"Yes, it is."

He banged the wall hard with frustration.

"This is still a better option, at least this time we can change the outcome."

"How are we to do that from a cell?" He yelled.

"I do not wish to inform you of the details, just trust me."

"My trust in you seems to only cause more trouble. I am sick of listening to you, you cause only misery for me!"

"You would have ended up here anyway if I had not interfered. At least now 'we' have the Ether.

"Where did you send it?" He asked suddenly.

"To be with my mother. I can only retrieve it if I am the one to send it."

The year passed slowly, though it also seemed quick with my fear of what was to come.

I would sit in the corner, imagining a song whilst conducting it with my fingers, Loki would sit and read, attempting to ignore me. On occasion I would hum the tune merely to annoy him, though I believe he enjoyed the break of silence, aside of course from the other prisoners, whom we often blocked out.

It was after about three months, we were both becoming quite agitated, to the point where he slapped me hard after I had jokingly insulted him.
In retaliation I tackled him to the ground, straddled him and held his neck still, I merely wanted to ensure he did not decide to kill me out of boredom.

We stayed there, my thighs straddling his waist and my face inches from his, our eyes watching the other's, trying to figure out our opponent's next move, when both our glances fell to the other's lips. I held his neck still and pressed my face to his, our lips locking tightly as his hands pulled me closer. When I was sure it was not a trap, I let my hand soften and slid it from his neck to his chest. Slowly removing our clothes with magic, piece by piece, he carried me to the bed. He kissed my neck, trailing between my breasts and down between my thighs. I bit my hand to muffle the moans. I felt I would explode as the sensations drove me mad. Finally, my legs shook, elation washed over me, and I could hold back my calls no longer. Once I had finished, and caught my breath, he climbed back up and lay beside me, his thumb caressing my jaw. I kissed him, and rolled him beneath me, positioning myself above him. As it entered, my mouth once again failed to hold back, a gasp escaping from pleasure. He pulled my face down to his, hushing my lips with his. I rolled my hips in time with his thrusts until suddenly he stiffened, and I felt him release.
