When I awoke, about an hour later, there was a knock at the door.
"What do you wish for?" I asked with an annoyed tone as the door opened, my face still buried in my pillow.

"Ah, what a breath of fresh air. I came to get what you stole." Tony Stark stated as he entered.

Reaching my arm out, I pulled the bottles from under the bed and slid them across the floor, they stopped at his foot, one was empty, the other only a quarter was left.

"Thanks." He said sarcastically as he picked one up, leaving the empty one.

"I will obtain more for you. Now leave my presence, before I force on you a glimpse of real darkness."

"Look, I don't know what's wrong, but I'm willing to listen, seeing as you did help us out yesterday."

"Why are you still lingering here?"

"Trying to be nice."

"I mean here, on the hellicarrier. You were supposed to leave with Pepper in your expensive car and be completely in love and thankful to be alive-" I stopped and thought for a moment.
"Oh for Odin's sake!"

"You okay there Inception?"

"Yes, merely dealing with the fact I have created a separate time line and must now deal with the consequences."

"Wow. Sounds heavy."

"You have no clue." I decided to sit up, knowing my face would appear calm and collected. He sat down at the foot of my bed as I pulled my legs in.

"Anything you wanna talk about?"

"For one, you were not supposed to be here. You were supposed to experience a glimpse of the unforgiving, nightmarish darkness that exists beyond this realm. It caused you night terrors and great stress. You realised how important it was that you spend more time with Pepper. Now I must find each change I have created and ensure they do not have any other 'butterfly effects.'" I grabbed the bottle from his hand and poured a glass, drinking it all at once.

"If they're the same as my case, it sounds like you changed things for the better."

"Ugh, of course you would be happy, it is in your favour."

"Look kiddo, I can tell you one thing, you did good. No matter what you think or anyone else tells ya. You're a hero in my books."

"It was selfish. I did it not for you or anyone else, I did it for him, to change his sealed fate and maybe bring light to his dim world before it is too late, but he does not care for me. I am a fool, I deserve no condolence or comfort."

"You're pretty dark for someone your age, you know that?" He placed a hand on my shoulder. "Look, it doesn't matter why you did it, or who for. We all do stupid things, especially for love, but what you did, that was brave. You saved a lot of people, and whoever this guy is, I'm sure he'll come around, eventually. Either way there are plenty more where he came from."

I slid my legs over the side of the bed, my blanket sliding off me and showing my attire. I watched with slight pleasure as his face dropped.

"Oh kid. Don't tell me you..." He could not finish his sentence.

"I informed you before, you have no clue what I am dealing with."

"He's like a thousand, I mean seriously? And he's nuts!" He pinched the bridge of his nose.

"It was not my decision, it is a curse I was born with. Like I said, you have no clue. I know everything he knows and feel that which he feels. Yet I can not seem to make it work vise versa."
