Simply Complicated

chapter 24

My results were out!!
Dad yesterday came to my room and sat beside me and said
"Zeenu, for any individual, college life is very important and in that case if we don't get bunch of good friends then no one can stop us from ruining our own future. This is the time when we need to be extra careful. And zeenu always remember , our respect is in your hand , so never do anything that will cause us harm. "

We both knew where this was going but I kept quite. After few moments he again said.

""What about college ? Which college do you want to go? Have u decided it yet?"

"Nope , not yet "

"Firstly, what do you want to become ?"

Dad had always been my idol. Since my childhood , I dicided to become an engineer same like him . He inspire me in many ways .

"You"
We both laugh at my childish reply .

"As a father it's my duty to make sure that u study in some nice college and get a future out of it "

"So start searching good colleges and so would I "
He continued and then left .

The only college I knew was Murat's college so I was secretly wishing to get admission in his college .

But Allah have better plans for us and he is the best of planners.

I tried my best to convince my parents for his college . As I wanted to be an engineer I thought to do the same way as everyone does. Doing science in 11th and 12th and then clearing the entrance exam for engineering.

dad found a nice college for me and filled the online form. But admission in that college is very difficult . I hope i get admission there .

I got selected . And today was the day of admission. I am all nervous. I was sitting in the canopy area waiting for my turn .

I went in the third slot .
After the admission procedure they gave us our timetable and my college starts from tomorrow. They explained us few do's and dont's and explained us their system of working.

There were alot of new faces , I hardly knew anyone but while the admission procedure was going on . My dad was by my side and so I didn't felt that awkward but I started wondering how will I manage In college.

I was a very shy kid since childhood, but after my school I decided to be more outspoken and friendly and made my mind to make many friends . I knew that school life wasn't good and hence I wanted my college life to be the best.

I just wanted to start from start and change my life from a boring studious teenager to someone who is always adventurous.

I just hope I find set of good friends which will make my college life worth.

After the admission ,all students were sent to auditorium for orientation.
Auditorium was very chilled , it felt like they were about to show us some movie but no , I was wrong.

Some head starting giving speech and wasn't even stopping . He talked for about half an hour . Hardly anyone was listening .
I was so bored. They were just promoting their college and nothing else . I went to the washroom . That place was much better than inside . At least there weren't anyone giving speech .

After 3 hours of continues speeches by different persons they finally left us .

I went home and told mom and dad everything that happend and was already tired so I went to sleep immediately.
