THE MARRIAGE

It was my chachu's ( father's brothers) wedding . It was the first wedding I would be attending of my close relative after a long time . I was very happy and excited to chill with my cousins , play with kids , eat lots of sweets and meet strangers though I don't love socialising but weddings are my all time favourite.

My house was full of guests . I went to my sister Sara and ask her
"Sara appi please help me with my outfit and make-up "
As usual she helps and says " You cannot even do such simple thing without me"
I try to make a puppy face and convince her. I then Soon picked up my outfit and went straight to the empty room that was arranged for changing clothes.

I was wearing a nice blue and white gown with matching earrings. And my makeup was done by one and only , my precious, Sara appi. Makeup was decent not too loud.

We then headed towards the grand hall . As soon as we reach there my mom introduced me to her relatives whom I hardly even know. In return I just smiled and greeted them with salaam , every other person was concerned about my studies more than me , everyone was like "so ready for your boards "
Boards are as normal as any other paper but these people were treating me as if I was going on some battle .

I was so annoyed at the end , I just hope I didn't replied rudely to anyone .

After meeting them I was waiting for my cousin sisters Aisha and Alisha to come. Though they were my cousins but they were more than close to me . I shared every piece of information about me to them . But now that I look back , I don't think I should trust people so easily .

On the back of my mind I was still worried about my prelims.
Prelims are very important to me as it makes one realise how much more efforts one needs to put for your upcoming boards.

Both sisters arrived.
We greeted with a group hug .
Aisha said " mashallah looking as beautiful as always"
Alisha on that commented " very true"
I said you two guys are also looking amazing.
They were actually looking amazing . I was so proud to have such beautiful sisters .

FACT: Every other girl you see is beautiful but same does not goes with boys .
Ps: jk ;)

Sisters mean a lot to me. They are people I can blindly trust and rely upon. I love them equally and we four sara, alisha , aisha and I love food. Yes we are foodies . Even when our mom insists us to go for shopping we say yes only because we would get a chance to eat our favourite things .

we were already starving.
We went to the dining table and waited for the staff to serve.
Dining area was huge with people waiting for the food to arrive .
The staff arranged each table perfectly .
They served us with different yet tasty starters and biryani in main course .
The food was just amazing.
After dinner we went to the sweets corner where I took one whole scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup on top , Aisha and Alisha took chocolate brownie and Sara was satisfied with chocolate cake.

While we were enjoying our dessert my eyes went on the bride and groom on stage.
Bride (my future chachi) and groom (chachu) both looked gorgeous and looked like they are made for made for each other .

For a second I felt bad for her as she was leaving her home . Where she was born . I wonder what she would be thinking right now. Going to new home and meeting new people ain't easy. After witnessing the pain which a girl goes through during marriage, I don't think I would ever marry .

A girl of her age was sitting beside her talking something , or maybe giving instructions of what to do and what not to. I assumed her to be chachi's sister .

She walked down the stage and sat near our chairs. My talkative sisters called her and started talking .

So from 4 we were 5 now. We got along really well. I got to know that her name is Saba haroon and she is closest friend of my chachi . They both were like real sisters infact. From childhood to adulthood they shared a lot of memories.

She told us about chachi and her own family a little bit .
Saba shared few childhood incidents and explained chachi's nature. It was good to know about chachi and her past .Saba then told us about her family .
Saba had two elder sister and one younger brother. And her father was a business men, and her mother was a housewife .

From afar she pointed out few figures telling who was whom.
First she pointed out to a middle-aged women who was the eldest sister her name was rukhsar and her second sister was nazma , Saba was the third one and the last she pointed out towards a tall guy with a real good personality.

I wasn't able to see his face but all I saw was his back he wore a nice white kurta and a smart watch in his hand.

I heard someone calling my name from the back. It was my mom. I went there and asked
" yes maa you called"
She said "Yes beta I think you should leave now , you have your maths prelim tomorrow and I want you to go home and just Revise a bit "
I obeyed her and right after 5 minutes after the car arrived to pick me up ,I was gone thinking about the face of the guy. His personality awestruck me .
