I wake up cold. Tobias had too sleep at Zeke's for the night because he can't see me until the wedding today. I'm so excited! I wake up and shower. then I slip on my dress. It's strapless and really comfortable. The girls knock on the door and I open it, letting them in.
"Take it off," Christina says.
"What?" I ask.
"We need to do your hair and make up first, and you need different underwear." She explains. I groan and slip it off, putting on a robe. "Marlene, do her hair, I've got her make up. Shauna, iron the dress, Lynn and Lauren, get the bridesmaids dresses, " Christina says. They go to work. Marlene plugs in a curling iron and pulls out a few pins and hair ties. She starts fiddling with my hair and Christina messes with my appearance. She finishes with my make up and starts doing my nails. She paints them a medium shade of red, probably to match my lipstick. She finds the shoes she talked me into. Their white stilettoes with a few crystals on them. Marlene is still tugging in my hair and Shauna finishes ironing when Lynn and Lauren some through the door. The girls have already finished their hair and makeup. They wear a black smokey eye with deep red lipstick, mascara, and eyeliner. Their hair is curled. Marlene finishes with my hair and turns my seat around so I can see myself in the mirror. I stand up. I see not Beatrice Prior, the little girl who only saw herself in stolen moments in the mirror, or Tris Prior, the girl who got first in initiation and was almost killed for it. I see Tris Eaton. A girl who earned first in initiation and beat twenty other people. A girl who can do anything she set her mind to. I smile. My hair is in a small beehive, I think is what Marlene called it, with a few strands of curled hair in the front. I put in a white lace push up bra with matching underwear, Christina made me, then slip my dress on. I am about four inches taller with these heels on. I have a gold smokey eye with eyeliner, mascara, and red lipstick. My parents and brother will be here today. I smile. I haven't seen them in so long. There's a knock at the door. That might be them now. Christina answers it and yup, it's them. I smile and give them each a hug.
"Beatrice, honey, you look gorgeous." My mom says. I smile.
"Thanks mom," I say.
"Who is this Four guy?" My dad asks.
"He's a wonder man that I am getting married to," I answer.
"Can I beat him in a fight?" Caleb asks.
"Not a chance in hell," I say laughing.
"Beatrice," my father warns.
"Dad I'm Dauntless now, it's no big deal," I explain. "We should get going," I say, with that, we start toward the Chasm. Christina and Zeke walk down the isle first, because she's my maid of honor and Zeke's the best man. Then Marlene and Uriah walk, then Shauna and Will, then Lynn and Caleb. Lauren does the rose pedals and stands next to Lynn. The music starts and I make my way towards Tobias, with my dad on my arm. I didn't know my mom would be able to make it so she and my dad weren't in the wedding. We got Caleb in, though, because it was easy to buy another tux. We already bought all the bridesmaids dresses they had in these colors. They were okay with it though, being the selfless people they are. My dad kisses my cheek and I walk to Tobias. The guy starts talking and I realize I have to say, "I do." Then it's Tobias's turn.
"I do," he says. He kisses me and I get the electric spark I get every time we touch. It's the kiss that seals our love for each other forever. We pull back and run to the dining hall, hand in hand. All of Dauntless files in. There's a piece of cake in every seat. At our. table is he group, plus my family. I sit between Caleb and Tobias.
"Caleb asked if he could beat you in a fight earlier," I whisper in Tobias's ear, he laughs.
"What's so funny?" Shauna asks.
