I wake up in Tobias's arms. I kiss him to wake him up. He wakes up and kisses back, then I pull away.
"It's Visiting Day," I say. He groans, probably nervous about Marcus coming. "I hope my parents come."
"I sure they will Tris, at least your parents love you." He says. I kiss him again and get out of bed. I slip my rings on, I haven't had them on in a while. He puts his ring on, too, and we uncover our tattoos. I go to closet and pick out ripped, black skinny jeans, a tight black shirt that shows all my tattoos, and my black combat boots. I go to the bathroom, change, put my hair in a high ponytail, and do my make up. Some eyeliner, mascara, and deep red lipstick. I walk out and get Miles. I change his diaper, feed him, and put him in baby jeans, a baby black shirt, baby leather jacket, and baby combat boots. It's adorable. I hold him in my arms and Tobias and I walk to the pit. Lauren sees us and waves. Miles waves at her, too.
"Hey Miles," I say, getting his attention. "Say mommy."
"Mommy," he says. That was his first word. I hug him and kiss his head, which has a lot more hair.
"Good job!" I say, he giggles. "Say daddy."
"Daddy," he says.
"Very good!" I say. He's really smart for a kid that's only five months old. "Say Miles."
"Miwes," he says. I laugh. We get to the Pit and I search for my parents. I see them and Caleb in the corner. I run toward them, Miles in my arms. Tobias walks behind me.
"Mom! Dad! Caleb!" I say.
"Beatrice, who is that?" Caleb asks, pointing to Miles.
"That's Miles," I answer.
"Is he your son?" He asks.
"Yes, Caleb," I say, annoyed.
"But Beatrice, you're only seventeen!" He says.
"It's Tris, and you know what? I'm pregnant with another one," I say. They all stand astounded. Tobias stands next to me now. "Miles, say grandma."
"Gramwa!" He says.
"Aww!" They gush.
"Say grandad," I say.
"Gradod!" He says.
"Say Uncle Caleb," I say, pronouncing every syllable carefully.
"Ucw Caweb!" He says.
"Aww! Sorry Tris, I was be ridiculous! He's so cute! How old?" Caleb asks.
"Five months," I say.
"Five months? Statistically speaking, most babies don't-" Caleb starts.
"I know Caleb," I say.
"Hey Tris, are these your parents?" Zeke asks as him and Shauna walk up.
"Ya, mom, dad, Caleb, this is Zeke and Shauna. Remember them from the wedding?" I ask.
"Yes. Hello, how are you?" My mother asks, shaking their hands.
"I'm fine, how about you. Err..." Zeke starts. He leans over to me and whispers in my ear. "What are you supposed to say to Stiffs?" He asks. I shrug. We never really asked questions, curiosity was self centered.
"I'm fine," my mother says reassuringly. The rest of the group walks over, some with parents. I over hear a conversation.
"Those are my instructors," Greg says. "She's really hot."
"Does she has a boyfriend?" His mom asks.
"No, but she has a husband; the other instructor. Her name is Six and his name is Four." Greg says.
