Picking Out Names

I walk out with tears flowing from my eyes. I throw the test away and walk to Tobias.

"Tris, what's wrong?" He asks.

"I..." I start. I can't continue.

"Tris?" Tobias says.

"Tobias... I'm pregnant," I say. He smiles the biggest smile I've ever seen on him. He picks me up by my waist and spins me. He sets me down and kisses me. "We're going to be parents," I say, smiling. He smiles and kisses me again.

"We have to tell everyone!" He says, grabbing my hand and pulling me to the hallway. We go to Christina and Will's apartment first because they're right next door. I'm about to knock but they come running out.

"I'm pregnant!" I yell, just as Shauna, Zeke, Marlene, and Uriah run out.

"Me too!" Marlene and Shauna yell. Lynn and Lauren come out.

"Why are you being so loud?" Lynn asks.

"We're pregnant!" Christina, Marlene, Shauna, and I yell. We all have a group hug. We go to the dining hall and get some food. We finish our lunch and go to the library. We don't have a very big one, it's just a couple of cook books and informational stuff like that. We also have a couple of scary books, too. We find the baby names books. I pick one out, it's half boy names and half girl names. I open to a random page. It's girl names. I see one that stands out. Katrina. That's original.

"What about Katrina for a girl," I say, looking at Tobias.

"That's great, where'd you find it?" He asks.

"Here," I say, pointing at the name. I flip to boy names.

"How about Miles for a boy," Tobias says. I smile, that's great.

"What did you guys decide on?" Christina asks.

"Katrina, for a girl, and Miles for a boy. What about you?" I ask.

"Phoebe or Benjamin," she says. I smile.

"That's great," I say.

"Let's go get dinner," Lynn says. We all go to dining hall.

"So what did you guys decide?" Lauren asks.

"Katrina or Miles," I say.

"Phoebe or Benjamin," Christina says.

"Kaylee or Devin," Shauna says.

"Nicki or Anthony," Marlene says. This is awesome, we're all having a family!
