Falling During Filming

Chapter 61

Jeff's POV

Bella had been staying with my mom the last few days since Skylar could go any day now, we had decided to have the baby here at home in Rhinebeck Skylar wanted me to be the one to deliver our son I was nervous but I wanted to do this. I go up to the bedroom after fixing some coffee I sit on the edge of the bed then look at Skylar she winces and looks up at me "Jeff it's time I'm having contractions." This was it I nod then go to the nursery and grab some blankets then get what I need to clean up the baby once he was here. I wasn't sure if I could do this but I knew Skylar couldn't do it alone plus I wanted to bring our son into the farm we wanted this bond and this special moment with this baby I go back to the bedroom and pull the sheets back and help Skylar get ready.

Skylar's POV

I look down at Jeff at the end of the bed while I lay back on the bed my body ached, I was shaking and sweating I had been in labor for almost six hours now he looks at me and smiles. "I can see his head Sky it's almost over his hair is dark like mine and Bella's." I sigh in relief I had wanted him to look like Jeff too he looks at me "I need you to push okay?" He counts and I push as hard as I can. He looks back at me "come on baby last push then you can meet our little boy I'm so proud of you." I grab the bed then push again and a few seconds later crying fills our bedroom. Jeff takes him then starts cleaning him up I lay back and rest for a few minutes I was glad he was finally here.

Jeff's POV

I wrap him up in a blanket then walk over and lay him in Skylar's arms before sitting down on the bed next to her I lean over and kiss her head Skylar smiles when he opens his eyes and looks up at her he was perfect. She leans against me and I rub her back gently then look down at him "Dixon Reedus Morgan took him almost six hours to get here to finally be born so I think he'll live up to his name." Skylar laughs softly then starts nursing him I look at him then kiss his head. This one was named after Norman in two ways Dixon from Daryl on the show and Reedus from his last name he was our best friend and part of our family plus he was the godfather for both of our children. So, it made sense to name him after Norman. My life was now perfect I had everything in my life that I could ever need it was Sky, Bella and Dixon.

Skylar's POV

After Jeff changes the sheets on the bed and cleans up the bedroom from the delivery he lays Dixon in his bassinet while I lay back and yawn "are you sure you can handle him?" he laughs then walks over. "Sky we already have one child our very beautiful daughter I'm sure nothing has changed in two years. I know how to take care of a baby." I nod then find a comfortable position before looking up at him. He rubs my side then leans down and kisses me softly "Get some sleep Sky you need it I can handle him until you wake up I promise." I yawn then feel the fatigue take over me Dixon had been hard but I felt the same as I did with Bella he was worth it. I close my eyes then fall asleep a few minutes later.
