Lloyd's Point of View~
When we arrived at the mall, we all were divided up into pairs. "So, we'll all meet up at the café at 3:00 for lunch okay?" Said Nya. Everyone nodded. "Since it's 1:18, we have an hour and 42 minutes to do what we want to do," Zane said. "Okay, now, let's remember our partnerships; Me and Jay, Cole and Zane, and Kai and Lloyd. "Uh-huh." Everyone responded. "C'mon, let's get going, we know our partnerships, sis," Kai said. "Okay, okay, I was just making sure that we all know who's-with-who," Nya said. After that, we all went off in different directions. "So Lloyd, what do you want to do?" Kai asked me. "Hmm, I'm not sure. You got any suggestions?" I said in response. "Well, there's a karaoke place near," Kai said. "Ooh, karaoke huh, sounds like fun. Anywhere else?" I said with a smirk on my face. "There's also a glow-in-the-dark mini-golf course somewhere," Kai said. "Do you think we could do both?!" I said in excitement. "Maybe. In the meantime, which one do you want to do first?" Kai said. "Karaoke! I haven't heard you sing in a while!" I blurt out. "Okay, we'll do karaoke, and I'll sing." Kai laughed out. When the decision was made, we walked to 'Karlin's Karaoke'. "Wow, there sure is a lot of people here," I said as I looked at the many people around. "Yeah, but I bet most of 'em are here to see the performance than to actually be it. I'll go and sign up, and maybe you could grab a table for us to sit at." Kai said as he pointed to the sign-up desk. I nodded and I went to find a table for us.Kai's Point of View~
I signed my name and grabbed a song list, along with a smaller slip of paper and pen. I walked back towards the entrance to see where Lloyd was. "Kai! Over here!" He called as he waved in my direction. I walked over to the table where he was sitting and sat down next to him. "So, you know what song you're gonna choose?" Lloyd asked with a smile on his face. "Not yet, but when I do, you'll see what happens next," I replied to him. I then looked at the song list and skimmed through to see the perfect one that I knew Lloyd was going to love. I finally found it and wrote the number and title down on the small slip. "Well, what song did you pick?" Lloyd asked. "Just wait and hear for yourself," I said. My number was #7. I looked at my phone and saw that it was 1:37. We should have enough time for this. I thought. The first three acts went up, and they all weren't that bad. That took about half an hour or more and I checked the time, it was now 2:18. "Wow, it's been that long?" I said to myself. "And now ladies and gentlemen, our next performer is number 7, Kai Smith!" The announcer called. There were cheers and applause as I got up. "Good luck, Kai," Lloyd said with a smile on his face. After he said that, my face turned a light tint of red. I got up onto the stage and looked at the crowd. I saw Lloyd at the smiling and waving a bit. I took a deep breath and the song began to play.
"Look into my eyes. You will see what you mean to me. Search your heart, search your soul, and when you find me there, you'll search no more. Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for. You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for. You know it's true, everything I do, I do it for you." I looked at Lloyd and he had a bigger smile, and his cheeks were a light shade of red. "Look into your heart. You will find that there's nothing there to hide. Take me as I am, take my life. I would give it all, I would sacrifice. Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for. I can't help it, there's nothing I want more. You know it's true, everything I do, I do it for you. There's no love, like your love. And no other could give more love. There's nowhere unless you're there. All the time, all the way! Yeah!" The crowd erupted in cheers and applause as the instrumental played. Lloyd looked like he was gonna cry, but those tears would be tears of joy. "Oh, you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for. I can't help it, there's nothing I want more. Yeah, I would fight for you. I'd lie for you, walk the wire for you. Yeah, I'd die for you. You know it's true, everything I do, oh, I do it for you." The song ended on a peaceful note, and I walked off the stage, and back towards Lloyd. His face was bright red and his eyes were watery. "You sang that for me?" He asked as a tear dropped from the corner of his eye. I wiped it away and said, "Of course I did, I love you, Lloyd, and I'd do anything for you." Lloyd smiled and gave me a small kiss on the cheek. "Well, we have to get going. The others are probably wondering where we are." I said. Lloyd nodded and we left Karlin's Karaoke. We walked down to the café, holding hands. When we arrived there, to our surprise, Zane and Cole were the only ones there. "You guys seen Jay and Nya anywhere?" Cole asked. "No, but they should be here soon," I said. "Well they better be, 'cause it's almost 3:00 and I wanna eat," Cole grumbled. "Did you guys call them?" Lloyd asked. "Yes, but we didn't get a response from them," Zane said. We waited for my sister and Jay for about 15 minutes. Then, we hear Jay's voice call for us from a distance. "Hey guys, we're coming!' He called as he and Nya waved in our direction. "Finally!" Cole said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes. When they came, we got our food and took a seat. "So, where were you two?" Lloyd asked Jay and Nya. "Oh, we were at Sky Zone, a trampoline place. It was on the other side of the mall, that's why we took a while." Nya replied. "Wow, that sounds like fun," Lloyd said. "And it was! You should've seen Jay on the mechanical bull, it was hilarious! There's also a dodgeball section, balance beams, and more!" Nya said excitedly. "Hey!" Jay said. Everyone laughed at Jay's reaction.
