Narration~
Two and a half weeks passed by in the blink of an eye and Spring rolled right in. But, it still felt like Winter, with some leftover snow and the freezing air. The sky was cloudy with barely any sunlight. Lloyd had gone out to visit Kai every day. He read some of the books and played music on some visits, and just talked about what was happening on others. Cole went back to his father's to help and Jay and Nya were still trying to fix Zane. On this cold Spring's day, Lloyd went back to the hospital, but on this visit, something unexpected occurred.

Lloyd's Point of View~
I was in Kai's room, talking about what everyone else was working on. "Zane's still out, but Jay and Nya are doing everything they can to help. They said they're going to have to take him to Cyrus Borg, but he's been unavailable because of other mechanical malfunctions. And Cole's helping his dad and the rest of the Royal Blacksmiths get ready for the concert at Ninjago City Arena." I told him. I continued to chat when all of a sudden, the heart monitor went ballistic. My eyes darted at Kai and saw him jolting and foaming. His eyes fluttered wide open and his mask fell off. It hit the floor and Kai was gagging and his face was beginning to turn blue as he struggled to breathe. "Oh my God! Kai!" I shouted as I got out of my seat and ran to the door. "Someone! Help! It's an emergency!" I yelled into the hall. Dr. Soma and three other doctors came rushing in to help. I was shaking in fear as I watched. "Quick, Ray and Macy, hold him down! Aura, pry his mouth open so I can get ahold of his tongue before he chokes on it!" Soma ordered. They did as told and Soma was able to grab Kai's tongue before he choked. Kai's eyes started to close and one of the doctors checked if he had a pulse. Then, he lowered his head down to Kai's mouth. "His heart's still beating, but he's not breathing!" He shouted. "He must've inhaled some of the foam. We have to perform CPR!" Soma shouted. The doctor then began to perform chest compressions on Kai. "C'mon! Breathe! Breathe!" He shouted as he continued. A small moment later, Kai shot up from his bed, gasping and coughing. "Kai!" I yelled as I rushed into a hug. "Lloyd." He whispered as he wrapped his arms around me and hugged back.

Kai's Point of View~
I hugged Lloyd as his tears fell onto the bed. "Kai, I missed you so much!" He said, looking at me with sincere eyes. "Well, I'm here now," I said smiling. "We'll give you two a minute, then we'll have to do an MRI," Soma said. Then, the doctors left and Lloyd and I were alone. "Kai, I'm so sorry this happened to you," Lloyd said. "Huh? What do you mean? You didn't do anything wrong." I said with a confused look on my face. "That's just it! I didn't do anything. I just watched you suffer. I'm such a fool to have done that, especially to the one I love." He said, looking down and his voice breaking a bit. I looked down at him and said, "You're not a fool. And it's not your fault. Everyone is afraid sometimes, and that's okay, we all are afraid of some things." I hugged him tightly and nuzzled my face into his hair. Soon, the doctors came in and brought me into a room with an MRI machine. Lloyd was standing outside the room, peering through a window. The doctors laid me down on the bed and strapped me in. They put headphones on me and played some music.

{Time Skip~}

I was brought back to my room and Lloyd sat in the chair next to me. "So,  what do you think of the book?" He asked. I was puzzled by what he said and I asked, "What book Lloyd?" Lloyd looked through his things and pulled out a familiar book. "This one, 'The Children of the Wolf'. I sorta took it without asking. I thought I'd read it to you while you were in a coma." He said, handing the book to me. "Oh, this one. Yeah, I was reading it for a while. It's pretty good so far. I'm on chapter six. Which chapter are you on Lloyd?" I said. "Oh, I'm on the same one as you Kai," Lloyd replied. We talked about the book and Lloyd played some music that we both enjoyed until the doctor came in and said, "We look at the images of your brain, and couldn't find any indications of a cause." Lloyd and I looked at each other and then back at the doctor. "Is there anything else you can do?" Lloyd asked. "Yes, we can run and electroencephalography, or, in other words, an EEG test." The doctor said. "What's that?" I asked. "An electroencephalography or an EEG test is a method that's monitor to record electrical activity of the brain. EEG measures voltage fluctuations resulting from ionic current within the neurons of the brain and what we're going to do is place little electrodes along the scalp, and their use is to measure your brain waves and to detect any activity of a seizure." The doctor explained to us. "Okay, but how's the seizure going to happen and pop up on the monitor?" I asked. "We're going to put you in front of a strobe light. And you don't have to worry if a seizure does occur, you won't be affected physically. The seizure activity will still show up on the monitors, but you might feel a little funny and numb." Said the doctor. We walked down the hall and into the EEG room. Lloyd waited outside on a chair and I sat down on a chair in front of a big light. There were three doctors in the room, and two of them shuffled my hair and put the electrodes on my head. They felt like tiny suction cups on my scalp. "Okay, now that you're all hooked up, we can begin. We're going to give you a vaccine, so you won't be affected physically if a seizure does occur. Then, we're going to shine flashing lights at you and try and trigger it." The doctor explained. The nurse gave me the vaccine and the lights go dim. I stared at the strobe light when it began to flash repeatedly. About a minute passed and the flashing stops and the lights return to normal. I blinked a couple times and rubbed my eyes. The doctor asked if I was feeling anything and I told them I felt completely fine. The doctor walked back to the monitor and came back to me. "We checked the electroencephalogram and saw there was no activity of a seizure. Everything was normal." The doctor told me. I was brought back to my room, but I still had the electrodes on my head. Lloyd was by my side when I was brought back. I lied in bed and Lloyd sat in the chair next to me. "Why do I still have these things on my head?" I asked. "Because we're going to have you stay here for an extra three days, so we can try to find out why you had a seizure. After the three days, and if you're feeling better, then you can be released." The doctor said. "I can wait an extra three days and I'll visit with the others, okay," Lloyd said to me. I noticed the clock on the wall and saw that it was almost time for dinner back at home. "Oh, Lloyd, it's almost time for dinner, maybe you should head back home," I said. "Oh, I guess it is. And I am kinda hungry too." Lloyd said. "Then, go on ahead. Go and eat, spend some time with the others." I said. "Are you sure? I mean, I'm not that hungry, I can stay with you for a bit." Lloyd said as he grabbed my hand. "I'll be fine Lloyd. You can go." I said. Lloyd smiled and kissed me on my cheek before grabbing his things and leaving. A couple of hours after Lloyd left, I drifted off to sleep, but I had the same dream I had weeks ago. Ninjago was in ruins and I was facing off with Lloyd. But this time, something more dreadful happened. Lloyd had been turned into a human fireball and I only laughed as he screamed in pain.
