Cole's Point of View~
I was really excited for tonight because tonight, we were all going to the Arena to see my father and the rest of the Royal Blacksmiths perform on stage for a concert, along with other performers too. Everyone else said that they'd come. I had helped them practice their performance over the past aa had told her anything about what he's been doing since they both know a lot about technology and that kind of stuff. "Nya, you mind if I ask you something?" I asked her. "Not at all. What is it?" She responded. "Well, it's about Zane. Did he tell or show you anything?" I asked. Nya paused and looked down. "He did. But he made me promise not to tell any of you." Nya said. "Oh," I said. "I'm sorry, but he said something bad might happen if I tell a lot of people," Nya said as she hugged me. I hugged her back and said, "No, it's fine. If it's that important to you two, keep it a secret." Nya looked at me with tears in her eyes and responded, "Please don't tell anyone else about this! Especially, Lloyd or Kai!" I looked at her with worry and I could see that she was really upset. "I promise I won't," I said. She restrained from me and walked away, wiping her eyes. I guess whatever Zane told Nya has a really hard impact on her. And yet, she keeps going along with it. I thought. I grabbed myself some ingredients and made a sandwich. I went back to my room and sat down at my desk. As I ate, I couldn't help but think about everything that happened mere minutes ago. Now I wonder what they're up to. I thought to myself.Lloyd's Point of View~
I was so much happier that Kai was back with us. But there was something strange. This morning, he seemed confused about how he woke up in his room and the fact that he was back home. I told him that he had said that he'd been released from the sanitarium. He said that he didn't remember saying that nor even coming here. I was concerned about him. Why was Kai never able to remember certain things? Right now, I was with him in his room. He was sitting on his bed and I was sitting on a chair. "Kai? Are you okay?" I asked. He looked up at me and said, "I'm fine. I was just thinking about some stuff." I got up from the chair and sat next to him and held his hand. We looked at each other in the eye. "Remember Kai, you can always tell me anything if you're feeling upset. I'll be there to listen to you. I won't ever run away from again." I told him. Kai looked at me. "I know Lloyd. I know." He said with a sigh. "Is there anything you wanna talk about?" I asked. "Well, there is. It's about tonight." Kai responded. My eyes widened. "What about it?" I questioned nervously. "I...I don't think I should come with you and the others." Kai said. I gasped and quickly said, "What?! You're not coming?! But you promised Cole! He's counting on all of us to be there!" Kai got up and shut the door. "Ssh! Quite! I don't want the whole monastery to know!" He hushed. "But Kai! You promised you'd come! Why are you backing out?!" I asked. "Because of everything I did to you and the others. Those memories and feelings won't go away. And I'm afraid of hurting you or anyone else at the Arena. So, I'm sorry." Kai said with a heavy sigh as he slumped onto the bed. "Kai, but if you don't come, you'll be hurting us, especially Cole," I said. "I just don't know what to do. I mean, I want to go, but I'm still afraid of going crazy again." Kai said. I hugged him tightly and gave him a small kiss on his cheek. "Everything's going to be just fine. You don't have to worry. We're all gonna have fun with everyone tonight. So, please come with us, Kai! Please? I promise it'll be fun!" I said then whined. Kai hugged me back and chuckled. "Okay, okay, I'll come tonight. You happy?" He asked as he laughed. "Yup! And I'm glad to hear you laugh!" I cheered. Kai and I both laughed and continued talking about the fun we were going to have tonight at the concert. We talked about the food we could eat, the songs we could hear, and the merchandise we could buy. I was really excited about tonight because it's going to be my first time ever seeing the Royal Blacksmiths in person. I just couldn't wait to see them with everyone, especially Kai.A couple of hours passed by quickly and now, it was only a matter of minutes before we were about to head out. Everyone was ready to go, everyone but Kai. We were waiting for him at the moment. "Kai! Hurry up! We don't wanna be caught in the crowds!" Jay called out. There was no response. "What the heck is taking him so long?" Cole questioned. "Perhaps he's making sure his hair is perfect. We all know how much Kai loves his hair." Zane said. Suddenly, my phone buzzed and chimed, giving me a notification. I took my phone out of my pocket and checked it. When I looked at it, I saw that I received a message from Kai. I opened the message and read it.
