Days turned to weeks and Jungkook stayed by Lisa's side. He tried to remain positive as much as he can, as each day passed. He told her stories about everything and anything he could think of, told her lame jokes that had made her laugh before, he talked about their wedding plans and how Chaeyoung couldn't wait to arrange it, he talked about his parents, his brother—
Jungkook talked to Lisa, hoping, yearning; that she's listening to him.
Hoping that she would finally open her beautiful eyes.
Hoping that she would finally be in his arms again.
He told her he was sorry. He cried beside her till he fell asleep. He cared for her, helped her wash up and made sure she looked comfortable.

Jungkook's tired eyes scanned Lisa's body. She was getting thinner and thinner. It's been a month and she's still asleep.
"Hey baby, how are you today" Jungkook forced a smile as he looked at his bedridden fiancé who's as pale as a ghost.
"I cleaned around the house today. It was like a blast from the past as I came upon some items" Jungkook chuckled as held her cold hands, kissing her fingers every now and then.
"Remember the time we went Kayaking at Dong River for our summer getaway?" Jungkook forced a smiled as he caressed her sunken, hollow cheeks.
"I found your pink hello kitty life vest" Jungkook looked down as he played with the engagement ring around her bony fingers.
"I remember how cute you looked that day" he trailed off as the ring easily slipped off her fingers. Jungkook bit his lips as he stopped himself from crying yet again.
"I'll keep this for now okay baby?" Jungkook slipped the ring off her finger as he slipped it in his pockets.
Silence engulfed the two as Jungkook failed to think of anything else to say.
Jungkook's mind started to dwell in darkness as his sanity depleted. Staring at her didn't help. Holding her close– he didn't feel that warmth.
It was like she's slowly slipping away from his grasp and Jungkook was trying his best, yet it's not enough.
"It wasn't enough then how can it be now?" His conscience mocked him.
Then there was a soft knock on the door.
Jungkook slowly stood up from where he sat, opening the door to a familiar face.
There stood Yeri as she fidgeted awkwardly from where she stood, feeling as Jungkook's scrutinising gaze, as he looked at her up and down.
"Jungkook—"
"Didn't I tell you that I didn't ever want to see you again?"
He spat venomously, causing her to flinched slightly.
"You can't keep pushing me away kookie! What happened between us—"
"Was nothing but a mistake— and believe me when I say this Yeri. That I'll fucking drag you out of here myself"
Jungkook was seething in anger, and all he saw was red. However, guilt soon began to eat him up but he quickly masked it with anger.
"I know you still feel something for me. No matter how much you push me away— you still screamed my fucking name that night."
"Not hers" Yeri spat with disgust as she sized up Jungkook who clenched his jaw. He didn't want to cause as scene as he knew Lisa wouldn't approve of it.
To make matters worse, she doesn't even know about the whole Yeri fiasco.
Jungkook was done deceiving Lisa. He wanted to change, and he can start now.
He grabbed her harshly by her jaw, his huge hand almost choking her.
"I don't ever want to see you again. You don't know half the things I can do to you" Jungkook threatened Yeri with no remorse or whatsoever as she looked at him with wide frightened eyes.
Little did Jungkook know, that
someone was watching them. From the shadows Taehyung
watched with a hooded and
skeptical look on his face.Even he didn't know why
Yeri was there. Why Jungkook looked so angry
as soon as he saw her.Taehyung knew he wasn't in the place
to do or even say anything as he
himself,is hiding something dark.A secret he didn't plan on
revealing anytime soon.
