Lisa couldn't move, she froze in that spot where Jungkook had left her; his warmth and scent still lingering on her skin.
It was to let go of someone's you've grown so familiar with.
They've lost all contact with him. He didn't visit, call, message or even sent a letter or postcard.
It was like he'd vanish from the face of the earth.
"Lili" Taehyung hummed pulling Lisa from her trance. It was a common occurrence for her to suddenly drift off into her dreamland so he didn't mind.
They were at a cafe Lisa and Jungkook used to go to when she was upset. Their famous chocolate milkshake always cheered her up.

"Sorry Tae, I was just—"
"It's okay I understand" Taehyung laughed slightly, looking a little broken. She was with him, physically.
Yet her mind, heart and soul were with Jungkook wherever he may be.
Taehyung had no chance against him. It's been a year and all she ever thinks about was him.
Him.
Him.
Him.
Taehyung didn't mind, he'd already accepted his faith. But what worried him was that she won't recover, if he finds another woman— it'll break her.
"Drink your milk chocolate, the ice will melt and it'll just taste like water" Taehyung poked her straw, pushing it till it touches her fingers.
"Yeah you're right" Lisa breathed out, pursing her lips to the side as she took a hesitant sip of her favourite drink.
She's having one of those days where she just thought about him. Thought about what would've been— but isn't.
She understood Jungkook, she did.
She just needed more time.
Then a flash, a silhouette of an all too familiar man passed by the dessert shop. Lisa's eyes followed him with a hopeful flint.
He was wearing loose, long sleeve tee and jeans. He was alone, hair a little longer— strolling under the spring sun.
Lisa abruptly got up, leaving the shop without another word.
She could hear Taehyung shouting after her but he too became nothing like blur as she ran after Jungkook.
She turned a sharp corner spotting him amidst the crowd.
"Jungkook!" Lisa shouted, trying to get the man's attention as she tries to catch up.
"You finally came—"
Lisa touched the man's shoulder making him turn, she had stray tears on her cheeks as she began to wept for joy.
He'd finally return to her.
"back" Lisa finished off, realising the man in front of her; was not Jungkook.
"I'm so sorry" Lisa bowed an all too familiar look of disappointment plastered on her face.
All she'd done was wait hopelessly for him and he's not– never– coming back.
She had to open her eyes.
It was time to wake up.
"Lisa" Taehyung breathed out, catching up to the blonde.
He has a fresh new chocolate milk shake for her, in his hand. Her bag and coat with him as well.
"Lisa," Taehyung frowned as he looked at her stare at nothing; zoning off into her own world as she tried to piece together the ending of their story.
"it's time to stop this" Taehyung whispered, touching her shoulder.
"Jungkook" he paused, making her turn.
"He's never coming back— he made sure of that" Taehyung made her look him in the eyes, her empty eyes filled with tears as they began to fall.
"I'm here" Taehyung pushed her hair back as she looked at him with an empty glance.
"I'll always be here" Taehyung hugged Lisa, and she didn't hug back.
" Nothing could fix her
broken heart;
Nothing but time. "
