Static filled her senses.
"Numb"
Lisa went into shock. Her mind was in great turmoil. Her legs felt like jello as she lost her balance, falling to the ground.
Darkness followed.
"Lisa!"

The beeping sound from the machine, that was attached to Lisa filled the white room. Her love ones surrounded her with watchful eyes. Everyone was on their toes after hearing about the news.
"Do you think she remembered something?"
"I hope so."
"The doctors said it's difficult for her to register or recall memories or events. She's still recovering"
"It must've been painful.."
"Is auntie Lisa sweeping (sleeping)?" Jinsong softly mumbled from in between his mom's legs. "Yes baby... she's.. auntie Lisa is sleeping soundly.. she's really tired" Jisoo whispered softly into her son's ears as she bent down to his level of sight.
"But her eyes are opening mommy!" Jinsong squealed in pure delight. This outburst caused everyone's attention to turn to Lisa as she was indeed waking up.
"Lisa—" Jungkook was ready to run to his fiancée's side like he should be.
However—
"Kook— I think it's best if you stay there" Taehyung stopped him. It was a wise decision. She's too fragile to process right now. "I'm sorry kook.. It's for the best" Taehyung stood beside Jungkook as everyone gathered around Lisa.
Jungkook stood idly by as she sat up weakly, smiling softly at everyone but him. Jungkook thought fate was finally on his side. He had hoped that she would remember that that was her ring around his neck.
That she was his; and he was hers.
But that's too good to be true. Nothing was ever that easy. He just needs to wait and be patient.
He knows she'll come back— He just knows.
