Lisa stared at her house— well; used to be her house. Everything ended as quickly as they started.
She felt so confused with her emotions, she didn't know whether she should be angry for what he did, pity him for how he is now or miss him cause they had a future.
Her unnies didn't help either. They told her he did the right thing; that she should "go with the flow"
How can she possibly just let him go like that? After everything? After the promises of forever.
She sighed, dragging her feet towards the door. Before she could even knock, the door opened to Jungkook.
Unkempt long hair, wrinkled loose unbuttoned polo shirt, effortless sweat pants— he looked like he just woke up.
He had dark circles under his red swollen eyes. Red nose and puffy cheeks; he looked like he'd be crying.
"Hey" he breathed out, clearly looked like he'd been waiting for her to knock at the door.
She loved this side of him. The side the never failed to show too much effort. When they first met, he'd always try to do more for her just to catch her attention.
He was like a puppy, small and energetic. Full of love and surprises. She loved that Jungkook.
Then when they became best friends he was like a protective brother, someone who always had her back. Her pillar of support.
Once they dated, he was sweet, always made time for her and never missed a beat.
Then they were together, and to Jungkook— nothing else mattered; but her. He was devoted, sweet loving.
But Lisa was like a seedling when they met, as time passed she blossomed to a beautiful flower.
Everyone adored her.
Many suitors had tried but of course; she only loved one man— Jungkook. But jealousy and insecurity got the worse of him and everything went downhill from there.
He lost sight of who
he was to her."Hey" Lisa bowed, showing a curt half smile. She felt so torn apart by how things unfolded. She missed out on almost a month of her life and this was the result.
It felt unfair.
Why her?
Why couldn't they have just
talked about it before
it went out of hand?
