Lisa looked at Jungkook blankly, it's as if all the hope welling up within her, just simmered down.
Poof! Gone.
"You're leaving?" Lisa repeated it yet again, maybe she heard it wrongly.
"Yes, tomorrow. I told everyone else but—"
"Where are you going?" Lisa cut Jungkook off, her mind clouded with questions and an endless string of uncertainties.
"Japan—"
"For how long?" Lisa cut him off once again, now facing him, frustration clearly evident on her face and actions.
She couldn't believe it– he's leaving her again.
"I'm not sure yet—"
"I thought we're on to something kook," "I thought we were trying again?"
Lisa looked at Jungkook with glass orbs for eyes and he didn't say a word.
He kept quiet, looking away.
"Look at me damn it!" Lisa grabbed him by the collar, her eyes filled with tears as they stained her rosy cheeks.
"There's no point, Liz" Jungkook mumbled quietly, looking at her with tears in his eyes.
"Cause you're already giving up before you even try!" Lisa slammed her fists repeatedly onto Jungkook's chest, and he just let her.
"I can't even bare to look at myself in the mirror!" Jungkook screamed, making catching everyone's attention.
"It makes me sick just thinking about everything— everything I've done" Jungkook held Lisa as she cried in his arms, tears sipping through his white loose polo shirt.
"How can I love you when I can't even love myself?" Jungkook whispered into her hair, pulling her in for a hug.
"I'm not giving up on us," Jungkook whispered quietly, mostly to himself rather than to Lisa who cried softly against his chest.
"I need to love myself, before I can love you right"
"I'm coming back, wait for me" Jungkook kissed Lisa's forehead and he left.
Without another word, Another look nor another breath.
