Jungkook opened his eyes, this time he felt like he had full control of his body. An unfamiliar man abruptly sat up, quickly running to his side as he sat up.
"Jungkook, how are you feeling? Do you feel sick? I'll call the doctor in right away" Seijin quickly press the assistance button by Jungkook's hand.
"Seijin hyung? What are you doing here? I remember I had quit the agency—" Jungkook clasped his head as he felt a slight pang of pain. The person before him looked at him with wide eyes, evidently shock at how offbeat Jungkook was acting.
"All I remember was this plane crash— and—" Jungkook looked around in a dazed.
Then suddenly the door bursted open. Familiar faces came in one by one and Jungkook felt at ease; finally.
"Jungkook? You're awake!" Hoseok let out the tears he'd been holding onto, running to Jungkook's side.
"We've been worried sick! Seriously.." Jimin sighed a breath of relief as he saw Jungkook in one piece; alive and breathing before his eyes.
"Thank god maknae, you scared the shit out of us!" Yoongi mumbled in relief as he smiled in ease at the sight of Jungkook.
"Do you feel any pain? Where's the damn doctor" Taehyung quickly raced to Jungkook's side, looking outside scanning the hallway as he continuously press the button to call the staff I charge of Jungkook.
"I'm fine, why am I here? How did you guys find me? Where am I?" Jungkook looked around the room, his mind racing with thoughts.
Everyone looked at one another with frightened expressions as they look back once again at Jungkook.
The doctor finally and everyone convened outside, leaving an all too confused Jungkook sitting there.
"Doctor what happened to him? He talked about a plane crash and he told me he had quit the agency?" Seijin frowned in disbelief.
The other members heard this and responded. "What? How is that possible? Jungkook was completely fine two days ago" Namjoon pursed his lips, his eyebrows furrowed.
"Plane crash?" Everyone else uttered in shock. This caused a turmoil amongst the members as they each suggested their hypothesis on what had happened to Jungkook.
"We do not know of any substance in his body nor any experience he has had to cause such a disruption in his brain waves— but somehow when we ran him through MRI and PET scans, his neurological state seemed completely different from when we initially scanned him" the doctor only brought upon nothing, but more confusion go the seven men who surrounded him, all vocalising their concerns for the younger one.
"What are you saying doctor?" Jin folded his arms.
"Jungkook tapped into his Cellular Memory?" Namjoon tapped on his chin as his mind raced with questions.
"Yes precisely. There's not enough breakthroughs regarding this disorder as there aren't many people alive as of this day and age who's experience it. The accounts that we were able to gather dates back to the late 1900's" the doctor continued to ponder, his mind clearly elsewhere.
"Can you guys please speak human? I'm not sure I follow" Yoongi asked with a little irritation in his voice.
"Basically Jungkook is experiencing something his past or future self had experience before. He'd tap on his cellular memory, which is the part of the brain capable of storing or recalling experiences" Namjoon explained, looking at everyone who stared at him like he had two heads.
"To put it simply, you're saying that Jungkook now has the memories of past or future self?" Jimin inquired, earning a nod from everyone who still failed to follow along the conversation.
"Yes" both Namjoon and the doctor agreed.
This caused a silence to befall onto the men that stood in the hallway, causing them all to stare intently at Jungkook who talked to the nurse, drinking water and eating food that was prepared for him like how he normally would.
He was completely normal.
