Kongpob looked around his spotless room. He had unpacked and made himself at home. His room was really big. Big enough for a sofa, desk, wall to wall shelves and a queen sized bed.

His room had two big windows with brown curtains on them. Through them he could see the backyard. As he approached the windows, he heard someone in the backyard.

Kongpob looked down and saw his new brother swinging on a bench hanging from a big tree. Kongpob could only see his profile, but what a profile it was! His rosy pink lips held Kongpob captivated as he stared down at him.

I gotta stop, thought Kongpob while shaking his head. He turned away and went down to the dinner room. It was dinner time and he would finally be able to speak to his new step mother.

As Kongpob descended the stairs Arthit came running into the house. Arthit glared up at him and then ran around him up the stairs.

"Man, he sure can hold a grudge," Kongpob thought as he went to the dinner table to sit down. At the table were many different side dishes and a big whole chicken. It smelled delicious.

Arthit's mom, Prija, came out of the kitchen holding on to a hot pot of soup. Kongpob quickly got up and offered to help her.

Prija smiled as she handed the heat resistant pads along with the pot to Kongpob. Kongpob set it down carefully on the table and moved toward his seat.

When he raised his gaze, his eyes met Arthit's. Arthit bumped him on the shoulder as he walked by and snarled, "hypocrite."

Arthit saw Kongpob's smile fade and some part of him felt bad. He hardened his heart and sat down. He saw Kongpob go around the table and sit across from him. Kongpob stared at him defiantly and Arthit stared back.

Arthit resolved to not be the first one to break eye contact. It seemed like forever, but their staring contest got interrupted by Kongpob's father.

"How are you guys? Ready to eat?" Prassakorn's smile lit up the room.

"Yes, honey. Let's start," said Prija. Kongpob raised his eyebrows at the endearment.

Kongpob looked up and Arthit was glaring at him. Kongpob ignored him and began eating.

"Kongpob, why don't you eat your rice with pepper? It's good," Prija urged him.

Kongpob smiled faintly, "Thank you, but I don't like spicy food."

"So childish. What kind of man can't eat spicy food?" Kongpob heard Arthit's comment travel from across the table.

"What kind of man swings from a tree?" Kongpob shot back. Actually, he thought it was adorable, but clearly his brother needed to be brought down a peg.

Arthit set his jaw and kicked his leg out hitting Kongpob.

Prija looked back and forth between the two boys. She laughed nervously, "Okay, boys. No fighting at the dinner table. Arthit, you know better."

Arthit stood silent. He went to pick up his fork to continue eating when his phone rang. Arthit picked up his phone and his eyes lit up as he asked his mother for permission to take the call.

"Arthit, it's time for dinner."

"Mom, it's Namtan. Please, na?" Arthit begged.

"Okay," Prija sighed. This kid just talked to the girl, but never made a move. How did I raise such a fool?

Kongpob felt angry and he didn't know why. As soon as Arthit left, he turned to Prija. "Who is Namtan?"

Prija chuckled, "this girl Arthit is pursuing, but never has the courage to actually ask her out. It's hilarious."

Kongpob forced a smile and continued eating. As soon as he was done, Kongpob stalked up the stairs. He went to Arthit's room and walked through the open door.

Arthit shot off the bed in anger. He went to open his mouth to tell Kongpob to get out.

"I heard you haven't asked her out," Kongpob said with a smirk.

"It's none of your business," Arthit said with his lips pressed in a tight line.

"Maybe I can give you a few pointers. Is it that she's too pretty for you? Maybe there's a better looking guy?"

"Shut.Up." Arthit approached Kongpob and Kongpob backed up to the edge of the open door.

Arthit pushed Kongpob back and the door closed them in. Kongpob pressed back against the door. His body felt hot all of a sudden.

Arthit grabbed him by the nape. Kongpob smirked in his grip. "Why don't you write her a..." Kongpob's eyes widened as Arthit's lips pressed against his.

Arthit's lips were warm and soft against his and Kongpob opened his lips to accept more. Arthit angled his head right and then left as he devoured his new step brother.

Kongpob raised his hand and ran his fingers through Arthit's silky hair. Kongpob pressed tighter against Arthit and moaned as Arthit sucked his tongue.

At Kongpob's moan Arthit startled and pushed Kongpob away from him. Kongpob touched his lips and opened his mouth to say something, but Arthit didn't want to hear it.

"Get out. Get out. Get out!" Arthit opened the door and pushed Kongpob out. He slammed the door in his face and locked it from the inside.

Arthit sank down to the floor and pulled at his hair. What the hell is happening to me?
